I have to get up at 6:00 A.M for high school... In your opinion, is it better to shower the night before, or when you wake up? Because, I have P.E...and when I take a shower, I preferably wash my hair. So, which way do you do it? This is a really weird question LOL
LoveNJstyle answered Sunday August 19 2007, 11:28 pm: I take showers at night. I have a wet2straight straightner so i straighten my hair right after then sleep on it so it's really flat. it just works better for me to not have to rush in the morning to get ready. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
advicer answered Sunday August 19 2007, 7:07 pm: I take showers at night. This way, you don't have to wake up as early, and you don't have to blow dry your hair, which will prevent it from getting as damaged. In P.E, at least for my school, we didn't sweat at all. But, we also didn't get the oppurtunity to shower after. It would take me an hour to shower, blow dry, and straighen, so I'd deffinately shower at night. If you're scrunching your hair or something, then take it in the morning. [ advicer's advice column | Ask advicer A Question ]
leLovely answered Sunday August 19 2007, 6:02 pm: I take a shower at night so that right when I get up I can just straighten or whatever to my hair and it saves time vs. showering, blowdrying, etc. It beats getting up the extra hour. Plus, if you plan on taking a full shower after gym, it'd save a lot of time and energy if you didn't just take one 3 hours ago at home. [ leLovely's advice column | Ask leLovely A Question ]
Matt answered Sunday August 19 2007, 5:25 pm: I prefer to do it at night, not because of any hair issues or anything like that, because I'm too lazy to do it in the morning. [ Matt's advice column | Ask Matt A Question ]
winteromancex answered Sunday August 19 2007, 4:09 pm: take a shower at night because if you take one in the morning then you have to wake up even earlier than you would if you didn't take one. Therefore you get more sleep that way and wont be as tired throughout the day. Plus, your hair can dry naturally and then you can style it in the morning. the only reason I could see taking it in the morning is if you just naturally let your hair dry for school and then do nothing else to it because if thats all you do then sleeping on it would probably mess it up, but most people I know take showers at night :) [ winteromancex's advice column | Ask winteromancex A Question ]

crack_is_wack answered Sunday August 19 2007, 3:40 pm: I actually usually take a shower in the afternoon, often as soon as I get home from school. That way, I can let my hair air dry without looking sloppy for school or getting my pillow all wet. As an added bonus, if I have P.E. I get clean right away instead of feeling gross all day.

Ever since I can remember I was taking night showers- then I realized- having longer hair for a guy defeats the purpose of showering at night and waking up to find greasy hair. Obviously if you look at my picture- I got my hair cut recently, but I find that taking morning showers is better. That way you know you'll smell nice and stuff right before school- you don't have to risk having a hot night destroy the purpose of the shower.
So therefore- its better to take it in the morning so you're all fresh right then and there =D.
