Diet coke is just hidden sugar's and crap. It's better than normal pop I believe, but that doesn't mean its good.

My health teacher told me diet coke was made for diabetic people. Coke isn't really good for you at all but if you aren't diabetic go with regular.

Diet Coke contains 2x the sugar that regular Coke has. If there was no sugar, 0 everything, it would just be colored water, basically, so they have to add something so that you can taste it. Diet Coke contains Splenda and other artificial sweeteners that are terrible for you, especially with all of that extra sugar packed in.

Drink regular Coke, you'd be better off not drinking it at all actually.

well, if you want soda and don't want all the extra calories, the diet one is technicaly better.
its only bad for you because of the artifical sweetners, which are bad for you teeth, and hold water if your trying to loose weight.

Mr2Nice answered Saturday August 4 2007, 6:03 pm:
Yes diet coke is worse than regular coke because of all the stuff they put to replace all the sugar and calories. So just stick to the regular one.

hotpotato answered Saturday August 4 2007, 6:01 pm:
The reason why you would hear it is worse for you is because diet coke contains artificial sweeteners. That's why the soda is still sweet, despite containing 0 calories. Scientists are working on finding a link between aspartame/fake sugar and cancer. Drinking this fake sugar in large amounts, of course, is bad, because everything should be consumed in moderation.
