Additional info, added Friday July 13 2007, 3:54 pm: I'm mainly going to keep the bar in so it doesn't hurt my teeth. When I go out with my friends or something like that then I'll put a ring in it, but that would only be for a few hours or so.
Elcee answered Friday July 13 2007, 9:14 am: I'm sorry to say but it does look uncomfortable and a bit strange. It will chip the enamel off your teeth if you are not very careful with it. It also looks quite fragile there. [ Elcee's advice column | Ask Elcee A Question ]
orphans answered Friday July 13 2007, 3:41 am: I do think it is very strange, but I like that sort of thing. It may mess up your teeth in the long run, I'm not sure though. It's unique and even if someone does think it's trashy or whatever, don't worry about it if you like it. =) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
bitterxsweet answered Friday July 13 2007, 3:11 am: i agree.. very "ouch!" lol. honestly it does look kind of tacky, but not trashy. i mean when you smile or talk theres just a ring hanging there? i think itd be hard to look someone in the eye if they had one ha. hm but if you have a bar in it maybe its not as obvious?
oh, and just FYI - you may not have that movie star smile in the long run if you keep that piercing, itll probably rub your teeth and gum line alot and wear them down like lip & tongue piercings can. just a thought.
MAK answered Friday July 13 2007, 1:49 am: Hmmm... well, it's definitely different. The first thing that came to mind when I looked at the picture was the word 'ouch'. The upper lip piercing looks so painful!!! LOL!
Anyways, I don't think it makes you look tacky or trashy because you dress sharp and clean. The lip piercing just seems a little too much for me. Does it dissapear when you close your mouth? Because if it doesn't, than I would take it out.
That is just my opinion. But if YOU like it, and you feel that it represents YOURSELF, then I would definitley keep it =) [ MAK's advice column | Ask MAK A Question ]
