It gonna be hard at first but just take it out everyday put the leash on and walk a few steps infront of it and it will eventually start to follow if it doesnt then just keep trying and try to convince it to follow you and im sure it will start or you could take it to pet training.

Get a dog instead because cats don't usually walk on leashes.

If it's necessary for you to walk your cat on a leash, you may find using a harness is easier than a collar. You would need to just leave the harness on the cat without the leash until he/she was used to it.

After the harness has been accepted, attach the leash, but don't try to make your cat follow you, follow it instead, preferably just around the house to start with.

When your cat becomes used to having you following it around, you could try to gently guide it. However, cats do not generally take to leashes so well as dogs, and you may find you have a power struggle on your hands.

I don't know if it's possible. I have tried with all three of my cats. They just don't get it or maybe they just don't want to be treated like dogs. If you wan't to try good luck. I hope you have lots of patience. Get a color and a leash and see if they'll cooperate.

I would have it walk around with a leash in the hosue for awhile or just try to get her to warm up to the idea of a leash by having her connected to a leash for x amount time a dayy

Good luck,
P. Trixi
