No, there's nothing wrong with it. Trying new things is how you find out what you like/don't like & it defines you.

Do what you want & if people rag on you for it, don't listen to them. They don't know what they're talking about. =)

No, everyone has to start somewhere, right? And like people below me said, trying out new things is fine. As long as you don't start to tell everyone 'im teh best sk8r everrrrr!!!!111!!1!' before you barely step on the board, you're fine :)

OMG nooo. If you really enjoy skating skate! Your only a poser if your doing this because you want to fit in. You could do diving tommorow just to try out new experiences. Your NOT a poser you just like trying out new things and living life to the fullest so don't worry about it and learn those tricks! Hope I helped =)

There's nothing wrong with trying out new things. If you enjoy it, it doesn't make you a poser.

If you DON'T enjoy it and you keep doing it then it would probably make more sense to say that you're a poser, but why worry anyway? If other people are going to say things like that, they will do so no matter what you do. Don't worry. Enjoy yourself, and be careful on your new skateboard!
