Sometimes, I predict things without knowing I predict them. For example, when i was walking into my tv room I was thinking about the movie karate kid and I did a karate kid kick (i'm strange) then when I got to the tv room a band was talking about the movie Karate Kid. I didnt even hear the tv before I got in. Or maybe i'm thinking "i like the name luke for a boy" and a mom nearby with her kids has a kid named luke and says "luke". This happens alot! Is it just a really big coincidence or might I be physcic or something?
I know that there are a lot of non-believers out there - some people just find it plain scary but let me explain - just because you are psychic does not mean that you can predict the future!!!
I am descendent from a line of mediums/psychics and am currently developing my skills however, it never has been and never will be my intention to profit from my gifts.
As for being on TV - who would want to be pestered by ever single person you met saying "tell me the lottery numbers" or "will I ever be rich".
Things like Tarot cards are meant to be used as a guide to your life and can let you know of influences which will come into your life but ultimately, every decision that you make in life will take you somewhere. It's all about choices! [ Indigo1208's advice column | Ask Indigo1208 A Question ]

So while you may have noticed three psychic/coincidence things in the past week (for example), you may have NOT noticed three hundred little thoughts that led nowhere.
Of course, people DO pick things up unconsciously in communication with other people. Research into right brain activity has proven this.
ammo answered Friday July 6 2007, 1:56 pm: I've mixed feelings when it comes to psychics. I don't believe in any of those that appear on TV or in magazines going by birth signs saying this and that is in store for you. I find it garbage because it's purely guess work. For example, predicting someone who is aquarius will find love in the following week is very vague. With there being thousands of aquarians out there there's a possibility a number of them may meet someone in the proceeding week. It's very vague guess work in my opinion.
However, that said, I do believe in a person being psychic. I've had similar incidents happen to me many years ago where I saw things happen (actual full events) during my sleep but they gradually faded (after a disturbing vision which came true and after seeing that they were all related in some way). I thought with me it was a coincidence at first but I quickly changed my mind after they gradually started to become more and more accurate and detailed. I prefer not to share the details but if you would like to hear of them you're welcome to write to ask.
I think in your case you would need to look into it a little more just as I had done. What you describe could may well be just coincidence (for example, thinking of a name in a group of people there's a small chance you may think of a name that actually belongs to someone present there). It could be nothing but then it might not be. I couldn't really say to be honest but I will say it's always a good idea to keep an open mind - it might all just be a coincidence and nothing more - or not. i think instead of being physcic, you just have a really good six sence.
Master_Betty answered Friday July 6 2007, 1:24 pm: Personally, I don't believe in psychics so naturally I'd say that you aren't.
There are no proven psychics on TV or otherwise, so you have to wonder really. If I was psychic I'd milk it on a TV show or something - but as nobody has done that properly, ever, then I doubt it can be done.
Probably just a series of coincidences, and you put them all together because you want to believe it.
