Ok I weigh 135 lbs and I want to lose atleast 10.
I'm 5'3.
Its mostly my stomache that bothers me,
what are really effective exercises that will help that, that I can do at home.
I'm also trying to eat right,
but no matter what I eat in a day, even if its healthy and not huge portions I always gain atleast 2 pounds, and yesterday I only had 1,000 calories.
Additional info, added Tuesday July 3 2007, 12:31 pm: I gain like 2 pounds,
but in the morning its 135 again.

Drink ALOT of water, around 8-10 glasses, and eats tons of fruits and vegies. Do 50 sit ups a night (you can break it apart too) and 10 push-ups. Its old fashion but it does help. Try fast walking for about 30 minutes 4 times a week, it burns calories like amazinglyy!! Portion controll is very important too, and you seem to be doing that. Also, dont pay attention to the scale as much. Just focus on eating healthy and eating a little less to swrink your appetite, and exercise and being active! You always weigh less in the morning, and 2 pounds isnt alot, because one day i weigh like 108 and then ill weigh 116 and then back to 109 in like three days! its just because we are growing and sometimes we eat more. I know its hard but you have to be patient. try getting a more accuret scale, but dont weigh yourself obsessivly: try doing it only once a week. Like every saturday track down how much you lost. i really hope to help, and i hope everything works out successfully! :] [ CheRrYToP_x3's advice column | Ask CheRrYToP_x3 A Question ]
orphans answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 3:24 pm: UMm..sit ups are gonna build muscle in your stomach and gaining muscle will make you gain weight. Lifting light weights and stuff is good because it tones you but you wont lose much weight by lifting and doing sit ups. What you need is cardio exercise. You need to get your heart rate up so you burn calories. Best thing for this is to get on a treadmill every day or every other day...which ever works for you. bLue_in_tHe_faCe answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 3:23 pm: FYI silly- when you wake up, go to the bathroom, then stand naked on the scale, that is your true weight. So if you eat a lb of food threw the day that doesn't mean you gained a pound. Wait till morning. I weight myself only once a day every morning after I wake up.
My stomach was huge too, I looked pregnant. But I started doing crunches (sets of 25, 20 if you want to) everyday. I still do atleast 100 crunches and my abs are toned. Start off with 100 or more a day. Do them when you're watching tv or just laying around the house.
When your eating, make sure to just controll how much you eat. Don't stop eating either because when you eat again your metabolism isnt as fast and you put on weight. Also, eat breakfast because that starts your metabolism. Hope this helped. If you need more info you can ask me because I have tons of sites and facts to help you loose weight. =) [ bLue_in_tHe_faCe's advice column | Ask bLue_in_tHe_faCe A Question ]
easterngirl answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 3:15 pm: I know exactly how you feel!
Try laying on the floor while putting both legs on a couch or chair then do sit ups, it makes sit ups more intense and works out your stomach a lot more.
Try doing a sport also, be really active.
Just keep eating healthy, and the exercise will work it all out.
Hope I helped.
