It's false.
Colleges look at all your grades starting from 9th grade [freshman year] to 12th grade [senior year] Plus, your frenshman year grades all count in the overall GPA

truthfully, every year counts, but your 11th and 12 grade years REALLY count the most. so your 9th and 10th grade years are bologna. ha ha.

senior year is pretty fun i hear. i'm a senior this comming up school year, so i'm gonna have fun.

Yes, your freshman year does count, and if you let things go down hill during your freshman year then your more likely to let them go every other year...

lalapeep answered Tuesday June 26 2007, 11:35 am:
yes it does.dont slack off in freshman year because it counts a lot, just like all the other grades in highschool. my brother did great in highschool but did horrible freshman year, and his gpa was really low, he couldve gotten a full scholarship if he worked harder.

All years of high school are taken into account, but the sophomore and junior years are looked at a lot more closely because they are the most recent when you start applying for college during your senior year.

In California every year of highschool counts and I would imagine it is that way in most places, but I could be wrong.
