a weed question

Question Posted Friday June 8 2007, 1:20 pm

First off before you start reading this , i DON'T want anyone to write me telling me how bad Marijuana is. This is a serious problem to me and by you telling me how much you disagree with weed , is not going to make my situation better.

I've been smoking for about a year and half.
[weed].
I don't smoke cigs though.
When i get done smoking weed , i get really bad pains in the back of my head and sometimes on the top. Sometimes it feels like my brain is jumping up and down inside of my skull. Now i know weed isn't good for your brain and such but are these pains normal? sometimes they really almost make me cry. My brain doesn't always hurt but it's been hurting lately and i was wondering what could be the cause and how to fix it ?

Should i stop smoking for a while ?

thanxxxxxxxxx

Well there are a few options for the cause of your pain. It is definitely the marijuana, but, what we don't know is if it is the marijuana alone or if it is the marijuana affecting a secondary condition. Stop smoking for at least a month and see if things improve. If you don't see an improvement, then there's definitely a secondary condition and you need to consult a doctor. After a month, when you purchase marijuana again, buy from someone different. The pain may be a result of insecticides etc used on the marijuana during the growing process. If you see improvement from buying from someone else, it is likely you pain is a reaction to the insecticides the other producer uses. If you do not see improvement, it is likely a secondary issue within the body that smoking is affecting and you should see your doctor. Do not be afraid to tell your doctor that you smoke marijuana, if anything it will be helpful in confirming and treating your condition.

I would suggest stopping at least for a little bit... like a month maybe?
i really think it could be serious.. my mom had this thing in her brain (don't know what it's called) and it came from an untreated sinus infection and i believe smoking makes that worse. you should really get it checked out by a doctor before it gets worse.<3

yeah, just give it a break for a while. considering i have no idea who you are i could care less if you smoke, but in my opinion if it's to the point where your in pain, you should take a break for a week or two. it'll most likely help.

I have never heard of this problem before. It could be other problems that are not even associated with the use. You should discontinue for a while and see if you still get it. If you still get it then you should consult a doctor about the problem. It may be more serious than you think it could be some kind of problem with your brain.

Good Luck!
