Question Posted Thursday May 24 2007, 9:48 pm

Well I have been dating this guy for 4 months. He is SO sweet, like always saying, i love you, your pretty ect. Anyways, his bestfriend told me that my boyfriend told him that he wanted me to hug him sooo badly. I mean really badly. Everyday after school he looks like he wants a hug but instead we go seperate ways (which we have to) and say bye and i love you. and thats it! should i hug him or not? I want to but im realllyyyyyyyyyy shy. i really need help
thanks

If you really do love each other, then this is something you would be comfortable doing. Just go in for a hug. You already knows he wants one. Besides, if you never even hugged the guy you've been going out with for four months, then how are you guys ever going to gather up the courage to kiss? And that's the best part of dating. You know he likes you and he knows you like him, or else you wouldn't have been going out for four months. If you like each other then you should both feel comfortable talking about hugging, kissing, etc, and you should also feel comfortable doing it.

Hope this helps!

Hey. Aww he sounds like a sweetie! I think you should go for it. It's not as if its a big step - its just a hug! I mean I hug my friends all the time. As for being shy I wuouldn't think twice about it. It's obvious he already thinks plenty of you. ♥ fabulous

Going out for 4 months and not hugging is a long time. I think that you should just go for it. When you see him, surprise him with a hug. Just be confident and there's nothing you should be shy of. He's going to be surprised that you did it first and he'll like it :] Just go for it, & then he'll start hugging you first.
