You owe your dad big time...there really isn't anything you can do to get out of trouble. No one's cell phone bill should be that high...if it's from texting have him cut off your texting. You owe him huge...do a lot of extra chores...that might help a little bit...but there seriously isn't much you can do...it's your fault you have to fix it...sorry if i sound harsh but it's honest. Alright, Well, your best bet is to get a job, or do some chores around the house. && I also th ink you should pay for at least half of that. Which would be 175.15. solidadvice4teens answered Friday April 20 2007, 12:23 pm: I think you should pay at least half of that bill. If you don't hae a job now you should get one and donate some of your monthl;y checks to it. The problem here is that unless your father pays all of the bill himself he will be referred to a collection agency that won't stop calling and can ruin his credit rating.
It's your bill so you are responsible for paying some or all of it. Like the previous poster stated you need to take responsibility for your own phone and know how many minutes you have a month plus how much ringtones and text messages cost.
What you should do is have your dad cancel your cell phone plan unless you are roped in to some deal for a certain amount of years. You should buy a pay as you go cell phone that gives you 50-100 dollars of air time on a card you activate it with.
If you go over the amount on the card you cannot make any more calls until you purchase a new one. If you are roped into the plan you have now keep track of your minutes, limit text messages and get rd of voice-mail completely. The last one is the most expensive feature on the phone as you're charged for recieving and listening to the messages.

He will respect you for taking responsibility and wanting to make things right. Also agree to do extra chores or maybe get a little side job like babysitting and agree to give him half of your pay for awhile. I think he will be very proud of you for taking responsibility for going over on your phone. I hope it works out! :)

Just let him know that you wish you could take it back , and ask him not to tell her. [ ASAPcamille's advice column | Ask ASAPcamille A Question ]
