have someone take them away.
or throw it all away.
because you dont want it to become an addiction.
if it does,go see someone about.

Cough syrup contains Dextromethorphan(which makes you high) and acetaminophen(a pain killer). In high doses they react in your liver, completely ruining it. You'll then have 2 weeks of extreme, agonizing pain, before you die. So get rid of it like the people below me say, or at least extract the DXM from the syrup so it's not as dangerous.

hey, well you should have someone lock them up for you and only give you the right amount of medicine when you need it. thats the safest way to break the addiction or to stop an addiction from occuring. focus on more important things like school, your social life, work, friends, and family. keep yourself busy and that way you wont want to drink the medicine. also try not to be alone. you wouldnt want to drink the medicine with people around you.

Get all of the medicine you have, and dump it down the toilet and flush it away. You HAVE to do this now, or else you are right- it will become an addiction. I read in a magazine that a boy died because he had too much cough syrup, and this is how he got hooked. Sit and think about what you want to do with your life, and it is better to stop now than later. You NEED to stop, just flush it and move on with your life.

good luck.
