heres what i suggest:
-Nightgown: it doesnt have to be like a lacy slip. I got the comfiest one ever from american eagle. Its so comfy, and soft. its just a paleish blue cotton, and its great. those are always cute, and when you want to feel pretty, theyre perfect.
-tank top and shorts: theyre always cute, but can be kind of blah. unless it looks fab on, then thats not amazing. but it always works.
-tank top and boxers: this looks really cute. You can get boxers made for girls(i got a great striped pair at old navy for cheapish, and you can get them a bunch of other places too) or for guys(just anywhere that they sell guys things). but if you go that way, then get them made small, so theyre short and kindaaa tight on the butt. like how you'd wear your short shorts. this is a really cute combo.
-tank top/tshirt and sweats: cute, especially in the winter. but i probably wouldnt choose this to wear to, say, a sleepover, or summercamp. its fine, really, theres no problem with it. but its just not as cute as it could be.
-matching set of pajamas: when i say pajamas, i mean clothes that are made for sleeping in, but not like babyish. like, cotton top and maybe flannel bottoms. theyre almost always adorable. i love them. theres also the kind thats made of a satiny material. thats cute too, but its a little babyish. but hey, if you like that, go ahead. now if were talking fleece, then id say its babyish. but again, unless youre wearing them around friends, who cares?
-long top: works really well on some people, but not others. if youre flat, then its not a great look for you, but if you have enough chest to be well seen under it, then its prettty cute.
and if youre not wearing them infront of friends, who really cares what you wear? no ones going to know. its fine to just throw something on, or to put on your pajamas, even if they are babyish. whatever, as long as you like it.

Flaggal answered Wednesday March 21 2007, 3:34 pm: Well, I usually wear regular pajamas but when it gets really hot, I tend to wear shorts and a tank top. I don't think there is anything wrong with wearing regular PJs but that's just me ^.^ [ Flaggal's advice column | Ask Flaggal A Question ]

thelaura answered Wednesday March 21 2007, 10:47 am: Key word: TV!
Wear what you feel comfortable in to bed.
Pyjamas are better for when the weather is very cold. and the short PJ style is better for summer.
I have the short style, but that's because personally, I hate sleeping in trousers :) [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
LM answered Wednesday March 21 2007, 10:40 am: Sleep in whatever the heck you want. In movies and TV and stuff, they wear "fashionable" clothes that look good. I bet they also wake up with flawless skin and perfect hair? It's not real life, plain and simple haha.
Tank tops and shorts are really comfortable to sleep in though, especially in summer.
