thats cuttin things <timewise> a little too long and its not safe to wear a tampon for too long at a time. wear a pad to bed instead..they might feel weird but its safer.

xoheretohelpox answered Saturday March 17 2007, 6:55 pm: its probably not safe. i heard you were only supposed to leave them in for like four hours. you should deff. wear pads to bed.
ANG answered Saturday March 17 2007, 6:44 pm: a pad is usually better. if you insist on using a tampon wear one and then just in case you leak also wear a panty liner.

orphans answered Saturday March 17 2007, 5:41 pm: youd probably should go to bed at 10 15 and wake up at 6 15, so that its 10 hours..
try not to do more than 10 hours, because then your chance for tss goes up!! [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
LagunaBabe answered Saturday March 17 2007, 5:27 pm: I wouldn't trust a tampon, going to sleep. I recommend using a pad instead, because they're more long lasting and you have a better chance of not bleeding through. Just be sure to change it as soon as you wake up. ElenaHilton answered Saturday March 17 2007, 5:20 pm: Probably not. I heard to replace every four hours. I would switch to pads because it is unhygenic and you could get TSS(Toxic Shock Syndrome) which is a disease caused by wearing tampons for long time frames that releases toxic bacterium from the tampon into your bloodstream. It's healthier to alternate between pads and tampons. [ ElenaHilton's advice column | Ask ElenaHilton A Question ]
