Dessert for Two

Question Posted Saturday March 10 2007, 1:05 pm

My boyfriend's gone for the weekend, and I want to make him a really nice dinner tomorrow night when he gets back.

Thing is, I can't think of a good dessert to make for him. He doesn't like cheesecake, and I don't want to make a cake, because we'll never eat it all before it goes bad.

Any ideas for a really nice dessert for two?

Chocolates are always fun to make and really good to eat. You could make simple truffles by making a ganache out of melted semisweet chocolate and heavy cream, and then when it hardens you roll it into small bite-sized balls. After refreezing them, you melt some more semisweet chocolate or any chocolate type that you like, and dip them in. You can roll them in cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or dried coconut flakes if you'd like. It's a rich, elegant dessert, and not to mention, an aphrodisiac.

A strawberry short cake. Strawberrys are very sentual. And if you have extra whipped cream.....
It's really easy at the store you can find either a angle food cake or short cake cups, get some fresh strawberries and some whipped topping. Easy light and very sentual.
Good luck

Well I would suggest, making homemade brownies, and buy some vanilla ice cream and maybe whip cream. After your meal just give him a brownie sundae. Almost everyone love brownies and ice cream.
Hope that I helped.

another idea is a classic sundae that you two could split or make two different ones

pie maybe?

(if my suggestion isn't that great, then please don't rate)
