Hey. Well, if you sign on from your house or another computer then the AIM robot should IM you and tell you that you are on in 2 or more locations [(this will happen immediatley)]. All you have to do is press the number one (1) when that window [IM] comes up. Hope I helped ♥ Kathleen.

sign onto your aim account from another computer, and a system message should come up asking you if you want to log off in your other location. it'll tell you (i believe) to press one to log off the other location.

hopefully that helped!

Sign onto AIM at your house.
You should get an instant message from AOL System Msg. This is what it says: "Your screen name_______ has signed in from another location. This screen name is currently signed in at 2 locations. To sign off the other location(s), reply to this message with the number 1. Click here for more information."

Reply to that message with a 1.
It should work. :)

Signing onto AIM on a different computer should sign you out of it on the first. However, if you set it to save your password on the other one, you might be out of luck--someone could easily log in at any time. If that happened, I believe you can change your password and it will NOT change on the computer until you sign in on that computer.

I'm only about 95% sure about this, though, so you might want to do some heavy duty googling/reading the FAQ for AIM.
