Question Posted Friday March 2 2007, 6:46 pm

When you went to High school, did you meet a lot of new friends? Or did you tend to stay around the same people you hung around with in middle school?

thanks =]

Personally, I made A LOT of new friends when I went into high school. You kind of have to, because the chances of you getting classes with your closest friends from middle school are slim. But I definitely don't regret making new friends. High school exposes you to different kinds of people that you can relate to in different ways. It's definitely a good way to grow.

But I also kept my best friends from middle school, too. Just because you make new friends, doesn't mean you ditch the old ones.

I hope I helped, and if you have any more questions, feel free to leave one in my inbox!

I stayed with my friends but when you go to high school, there is a bigger opportunity to make friends. There are parties and dances to attend to. You can make friends here. When you get to high school, there are grades older than you so you can make friends in classes also. There are activies after school which you can meet friends.
I kept my friends, but made new friends also from many other grades than mine.

I stayed friends with my very close friends & I'm starting to make a bunch of new ones. And, since I'm starting up with softball soon, I'll meet people that way. Just be friendly-you never know who you'll be friends with tomorrow!

(:

When I started high school, I was dead scared because my best friend went to different school and I guess I was kind of cling on to her for support but since she left, I made new friends and now I'm in 10th grade, I have never been more social as now. I definetly made new friends even out side of school, just random cool people I meet outside XD

I remained friends with about five people from middle school all the way throughout high school until now. I'd say that I definitely met a lot of new friends in high school. But moving out of state & starting a new school contributed to that as well. :)

Honestly both :)

I have a ton of new friends, that I love hanging out with, and they are so much fun, and just different, but I still have my old friends from middle school that have been there for me through everything. In highschool you learn who your true friends are, which ones are close and which ones were just there for the ride. You make tons of friends, and you keep alot too.
