i had a rough night one night and the next day at school, i still wasn't too happy or perky like i usually am. my whole group all stands together in the mornings and my best friend was in the group and she didn't notice a thing. it confused me because i can always tell when there's something wrong with her. i put in my ipod headphones and just blasted my music. then this girl next to me was like "your music is really loud..are you ok??" and i've only known this girl for like 4 months and she is noticing.
so here's my question:
is my best friend tottally insensitive to others feelings? or is was she just not paying attention?

look, i'm sure your friends not insensitive to others feelings. But maybe she just didn't notice, tell her how you're feeling you can't just expect everyone to realize you are ina bad mood. Some people are just more observant than others. Tell your friend how you are feeling.

She might have not even been paying attention. Someone could've been talking to her & she was so wrapped up in that to notice. Or maybe she's insensitive like you thought. But don't overreact about it. Just talk to her about it.

It could be that she is insensitive, but it could also be that her attention was elsewhere. If it bothers you, you should talk to her about your feelings. What are best friends for, right?
As for the other girl, I hope she is some one you are friends with. It was nice of her to show she cares about some one she has only known for a few months. Sounds like she would make a good friend.

She might not have noticed, trust me my friends were like that once too. She might have noticed but didn't say anything about it.

i think that you're reading into it too much.
so you arent so happy and perky or whatever. i think that maybe she didnt notice. i dont think thats its a big deal. or maybe she might just not know what to say. Thats the problem i have sometimes, i want to comfort people, but you dont know what to say or what not to say.
