my friend takes advantage of me
My best friend is very selfish and always takes advantage of me and i dont like it, and i have like no other friends anymore because i was always trying to please her (shes kinda high maintenence) and shes hard to talk to about this stuff because shell get all mad and defensive and wind up manipulating me to make me think that im the bad person, but really everyone tells me how shes bad and now she wants me to do drugs and get tattoos and other stuff that i dont think i wanna do... but i have no other friends..so what do i do.

You won't get very far if you're going to keep on following her orders and doing things she tells you to do. No one has a right to force you into doing something you dislike, and maybe she IS the reason why you don't have other friends after all. If you don't want to do tattoos and drugs, then don't. Maybe tattoo is not the worst thing in the world, but don't forget that it may be quite painful to make it, and if one day you'll want it gone, it would be painful (yes, again) to remove it. And drugs, by the way, are just naturally destructive. If your friend wants you to repeat every stupid step she makes, remind her that you can think for yourself, which, apparently, wasn't even considered in your relationship. I don't know if your friend is bad, selfish, or just lost, but try to explain to her that it is time for you to take responsibility for your own life, and if she still wants to be your friend, she has to stop trying to affect you, and force you to do something that's just plain stupid.

You shouldn't get a tatto or do drugs if you don't want to. Maybe the reason why you odn't have freinds is because people see you with that girl. If you and your friend can take a time off or even just sit down and talk i'm sure everthing is going ot be just fine.

alright, i used to have the same problem. i knew a girl that did the exact same things to me. i tried talking to her about it, and she acted all innocent and got mad at me. so don't try talking to her about this. i think you should find better, nicer friends...ones that are going to treat you well and with respect. don't take crap from her, tell her you're done. and you won't have to suffer any more.

hunny, you need to confront her. if she decided she didnt want to be friends with you anymore, would you care?..there other ppl out there you just need to learn to be more sociable.
Tell her if she really is your bestfriend she should treat you w/ respect.

This is crazy, I have a friend who is going through the exact same thing. Minus the drugs & tattoos. First of all, I hope you know this "friendship" isn't healthy. You should never have to try and please your friends. I know you're worried about her getting mad and starting drama, but you have to learn how to deal with confrontation. This doesn't mean be a complete bitch back to her, but remember to stick up for yourself whenever necessary. Start distancing yourself from her... Slowly but surely your friendship should fade. If she is persistent and keeps trying to get in contact with you... Simply ignore her phone calls and avoid her during school or wherever. As for new friends, making them will be easier then you think. Even though the answer "Join a Club!" is a little lame, it's true. You can meet people with your same intrests. Be friendly and strike up random conversations with classmates or whoever. Good luck!

O.K. no offense, but your best friend sounds like a witch. I mean she wants you to do drugs & get tattoos?? omg! My advice would be to make some new friends. Its not really that hard. Just star a conversation with somebody and smile and stuff. Just be nice. And its ok if you dont have a best friend, I dont, I just have alot of really really good really close friends. You'll be fine on your own for a little while. Just get away from that girl! Think about this: if it werent for her you would have other friends! Im not saying you can't be friends anymore, Im just saying to stop acting like her slave.
