im fat. all i ever think about is food and eating. i cant stay out of the pantry and fridge, and i eat when im bored. i dont want to be this way. i already work out and it helps some. now i just need to control my eating. how can i not be so distracted by food? i talked to my mom and i asked her to stop buying junk but i have 6th other family members..and this is not an option. help me please.

And what helps me is finding like a really cute bikini and saying okay gotta wear that by Spring Break..and since i really want it I try my hardest..I know its stupid but it may help? Um..also, eating all the time isn't a bad thing really. But if you eat a hotdogg and fries everyhour tha tis bad. But if you eat a bowl of cereal and a fruit, then have a lil healty snack with in and hour or and then eat a well propotioned lunch, then another healty snack and so on that not bad. But if your eating a meal size breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner all the time then thats not good. If I make sense?
But basically just try to drink water more often when you feel hungry. Inbetween meals have a little healty snake so you don't over eat on your next meal. Try doing yoga or something its great for bulding muscle and getting rid of fat. Try going a club or finding a hobby to do to keep yourself un-bored.
leLovely answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 7:27 am: Sometimes when I'm bored I just go and eat too. What really helps is if you have something to do. When I'm with my friends all day, I don't even realize that I didn't eat much compared to when I'm sitting at home. It really helps if you hang out with friends, go out with your family. Just keep busy with a sport, go for a walk, etc. If you sit around and just watch TV, you might be tempted to go to the kitchen and eat. Just keep busy, it helps a lot! Also, set a goal for yourself. Every 3 pounds you lose, reward yourself. Keep a pair of your old favorite jeans that are a wee-bit tight in your room that you want to fit into again. You say you eat when you're boredd.. find something to do! Go out with friendss.. walk in the park shoppingg..!
On all the junk food put a picture of the figure you wantt.. that way you won't be as temptedd.
You need food.. fruits && veggies can be good. Apples and cherries as such are sweet like candiee (sortaa hahaa)
Veggies get some carrots && dip it in low fat ranch sauce! It will help!!

1)make a goal for yourself (like a bikini that you want to wear. hang it in your room or bathroom)
2)wear a hair elastic on your wrist and everytime that you think about food when you AREN'T hungry, snap yourself
3)carry some silly putty or playdough or even a kneaded eraser(anything that will keep your hands busy) and play with it when you think about food when you're not hungry

sognarxo answered Monday January 8 2007, 7:53 pm: Ask your mom to buy you better foods. foods that are healthy for you atleast. so that you arnt eating junk. Also do things to get your mind off food. Go hang out with friends and have fun. this usually gets your mind off of things.
