my "time of the month"

ok. i should be on the period like RIGHT NOW. but i'm not. i haven't had sex or anything but it's late. can someone explain why. thanks.

You can be off balance, it's okay. It may come a few days late but sometimes you can skip it.. if you aren't regular.

If you're stressing out, you probably won't get it.

You should only worry if you haven't had it for several months.

*Assuming you are a teenager, this is completely normal. These are irregular periods, in which I have and many others do as well. So there is absolutely nothing to worry about -- it's normal. Honestly, even some adults have irregular periods.

like the person said below me, it depends on your age. most teens periods are kind of off balance until they've had it for a a few years. of course, you might also be stressed about something going on in your family life, school life, or just plain...life.

If you are a teen, your periods will be irregular. It's due to your body is still in the beginning stages of maturity.

The same goes with if you are taking birth control. It is a side effect of the drug. I can't accurately explain what causes this side effect, so I will not elaborate on that which I do not know for fact.

If it gets to be too late, or you just get too worried, you should call your family physician for medical advice.
