get over it
Hey guys I'm 15 and my name is Jackie. There is this guy that I simply can NOT get over. I've alould myself to get hurt. Everytime I begin to sorta get over him, he says something sweet or flirty that gets me to fall for him all over. My head knows he doesn't like me, but my heart keeps getting tricked into thinking that he likes me. so anyway. I need some tips for getting over him.

Honestly, the power to overcome this guy is inside of you. You have to build up the strength inside of you to be able to get over him. Don't make him take over you. You have your own mind and body for a reason. Don't let someone take that over, just to make you feel even worse in the end. Find your inner strength, and you'll be able to overcome him. Fight it, or it will consume you. Embrace the strength to fight back and be able to move on.

Do you know for sure he doesn't like you? If not, then my advice would be to find that out first. As difficult as it may be, the best way is probably just to be straight-up about it. Try saying something like, "You keep saying things that come across as flirty, so I was wondering, are you interested in me as more than a friend? Or is it just my imagination?"
If you do know for sure that he doesn't like you--or if you ask and it turns out he doesn't--then as unhelpful as it may be, the only thing that can really get you over anyone is time. It may also help to stop hanging out with him for a while. I know you probably don't want to--after all, you must enjoy spending time with him or you wouldn't like him--but taking a break from someone's company really can help.

Oh girl im with you on that=P haha i get attached to guys and this guy right now ive been obsessed with him for like 7 months.. I always keep gettin my hopes up, and then he'll go chill with another girl or just like all the sudden act like he doesnt want anyting to do with me. Well we got into this fight cause i was being kind of a bitch to him cause i was just gettin sick of being so confused, and i told him how i felt like less than a week ago. Things turned out somewhat good, and idk where we'll go... but if feels amazing to finally know how he really feels.

omg! i have the same situation!i know what i did and now i am his 1st banana i know he's not interested in me, i dont think,but he still tells me we can makeout~ its almost as if every time sometimes he USES you for when he doesnt have his other or his better girl(s) to flirt with him lately...you're his 2nd banana [to put it in those terms] theres a couple things you can do:
1. flirt back [tho it prolly wont help you get ovr him}
2. tell him to bug off [it pisses you off when he flirts with you bc it hurts inside and he needs to know you like him and its not cool for him to play with your brain likke that]
3. dont react but stop trying to tell yourself to get over him [you can find someone batter]
4. make him want you[when he flirts be mysterious, make him want to know more]

Well do you know for a fact the he doesnt like you? Or is that just what you think. Once your heart is set on something or someone its hard to give up. I know, ive been trying to get over a boy for a while now. i've just learned to live with it. Moved on found a new boy. If you have gone so far that you have let yourself get hurt then maybe you need to stay away from him. Dont totaly ignore him but keep your distance. I hope that helped.
