my boyfriend needs help
okay,i love my boyfriend to death and would do anything for him.but he drinks,dips,and smokes and i hate it.what i hate the most is that he tries to lie about it to me and it pisses me off. he wont do anything when im around him so im not worried about him pressuring me into doing it.but im worried about him getting caught,hurt,or in any kind of trouble.so my question is what can i say to make him stop?

i think that you should tell him how you feel
tell him that your worried for him
and tht you never want anything bad to happen
tell him that you hate it when he lies to you
and that you hate when he does what he does
tell him that he has you
and doesnt need that stuff

Well, there's nothing you can say to MAKE him stop. In the end, it's his decision. But talk to him about it, and tell him you're worried about him and really wish he would stop. If he's lied to you about it, I would sit him down and tell him "Look, this is coming between us to the point where you're lying to me, and I'm not going to be with someone I don't trust, so either you give it up or we're through." If that still doesn't work...well, there's not much you can do.

Well obviously talk to him about it, tell him your worried and you care for him a lot. Let him know you're just trying to be there for him and you dont ever want anything to happen to him. It takes people a longg time to finally get off drugs and stuff, so slowlyy have him try to quit or lessen how much he uses the stuff day by day.=]

you dont want a situation like that...thats terrible... tell him either that addictive crap leaves or your leavin, thats his choice and tell him your feelings, you'll help him quit but he's got to stop bc u dont like it...if he chooses that crap ovr u he is not worth it.

Tell him how it makes you feel and that it worries you. Remind him that he could get caught and in alot of trouble, especially for drinking. If he truly loves you, he will stop and if he can't make that sacrifice then clearly he isn't the one for you.

My boyfriend does the same stuff. & It annoys the hell out of me. Luckily, he doesn`t lie to me about it, which is good. The only thing you CAN do is sit him down, and tell him your feelings. You may have mentioned it before, but you need to go into depth. Explain to him how much it`s hurting you, and you`ll do whatever you can to hell him stop the things he does. Tell him you care for his well-being, and you`ll help him no matter what!!
