i really like this kid, like alot. my friend tom said that hes gonna ask me out, but he doesnt know when. i really wanna go out with him, but everyone hates him and they say hes wierd and stuff. but i dont know, if he asks me out should i go out with him?

If you really like this kid alot, and you think that he's going to be a good boyfriend and treat you well and have a great time with, then go out with him. Why on earth would you turn him down? Are you really going to let what other people think of him ruin a possibly good thing?
If people are only saying they don't like him cause he's "weird" they obviously don't know him very well. Have a hang out sometime and have him come along and show them and let them see the great things about him that you see, and hopefully they'll start liking him.
But even if they don't, like I said, you're going to put others thoughts on the guy before the good thoughts of your own? Date him and have a great time and if people do wind up having a problem with him, you and him don't have to hang out with those people together. You can hang out with them by yourself and hang out with your boyfriend seperately. That way, everyone wins.

People probably don't understand him very well. If so, they probably hate him for the sole reason that he's different than other people. Or....they may want him for themselves (if other girls have said that).
I think you should go out with him since you obviously said that you like him. Other people's opinions (especially non-best friends opinions) don't really matter in the situation.

but if you are a more independent person then you know in your heart already wat you wanna do so you already know the answer to your own question
