Relax? Okay, I tried out for a solo in choir on Friday, and we find out who made it and who didn't. Everyone says I'll get it, but how do I get rid of the nervous feeling in my stomach untill Monday? I couldn't sleep untill after 1 in the morning last night.

That's called anxiety and it's perfectly normal. There's no real way to just get rid of it. You can try keeping busy to keep your mind on other things, but other than that enjoy the feeling. ]
you shouldgo out to the mall or listen to music to get it off your mind. you probably made it, but just keep in mind of the worst too. try not to make calculations of who you think made it and who you think didnt make it cause that wouldnt make you forget about it:] When you come across the subject over the weekend, try to think of something else to get it off your mind. Or if you wont mind, eating good food relieves stress. cause it always works for me :] I also am about to have that problem. I have drill team tryouts next monday..and im afraid that would happen to me too. I hope you made it!! ]
i hate that feeling i tryed out for a play last year and had that same feeling but just try to keep your mind off of it good luck!!! =] ]
Oh GOD. Ive been there TOO many times :] Dont worry..The thing about solos is that they are all about who can sing the song the best, NOT whos the best singer. If you practiced and you think you truly did your best, it will be fine! Relax. If you do get it, great. If you dont, there will be so many more solos in the future. Try to get out and do something like hanging out with friends to get your mind off it. ]
Well, maybe it is just the feeling you get when you are so anxious to know and you cannot wait...but don't get your hopes up too high you will never know... But I hope you make it! =] ]
Just go out and have fun and dont worry about it.Im sure you did fine. Go to the movies with your friends or go to the mall or anything that will get your mind off it. and at night when your trying to go to sleep put your radio on so instead of thinking about it you can sing songs in your head till you fall alseep. dont turn it to load just enough were you can hear it and be able to sleep.

honestly it is a big deal i haave felt the same about cheer when i was in 9th grade but it was all over with and i made it but in 6th garde id dint it felt sooo bad. but it made me just want to try harder then i made it in 7th and 8th garde. so if you dont make it the worst that could happen is u not being the solost. but thers always years to come dont get all wokreed up on it tis not workth it and its so not worth it to have more stress pimples. hope i helped if not comemnt me abck and ill try again ]
