Thinned What does it mean to get your hair thinned?
How do they do it?
And is it good for your hair?
Thanks.

I always have to get my hair thinned because it's so thick. Basically, it rids you from having too much hair, making it lighter and much more manageable :) However, the downside is you are more at risk of having split ends. ]
Getting your hair thinned is when, someone has to much hair, the hair stylist will remove some of it, to make the hair easier to work with and much thinner.

Some stylist do it different ways. Some take a razor, and go towards the middle of your hair, and remove it from there.. and some just use sissors and cut away some extra.

Im not totally sure if its good for your hair, but I don't see why it wouldnt be. Your head wouldnt have so much dead weight hanging down. ]
Getting your hair thinned is when someone cuts yourfluffy light bits of hair underneath your top shiny hair so it makes it less thick and more light, it is good for your hair and can make it more healthy and better to grow.I have personal gotten my hair thinned and would do it again anytime. ]
I need to get mine thinned. My hair is very thick, I have LOTS of hair. I also have a perm and if I don't tie it down with something I get this big old poofy looking giant hair thing going on!
I have had mine thinned with razors. Basically they just take off some of your hair. They don't shorten it they just make it thinner. As a rule they use scissors that are best described as having teeth cut into them. They just cut your hair and and it thins some of it out that way.
I know I am not describing it very well at all. They basically cut some hair off so it is not as thick. If you have very thick and hard to comb hair (usually because thick hair tangles something awful) I highly recommend it! :) ]
