hparjsrox answered Saturday November 18 2006, 3:45 pm: How about stuff from a dollar store? Like not pads and stuff like that. Maybe you want to buy something that they might like. 50 dollars isnt alot for 6 people but maybe something from a dollar store? Something you think they might like. When you go into the store think of what each person might like. Hope I helped nad good luck! [ hparjsrox's advice column | Ask hparjsrox A Question ]

They have amazing stuff. Like lotion, body spray. You can buy gift bags (Whcih can be bought for about 1.50) and put a lotion in each of them. To make them differnt, buy differnt color bags, to math the flavor.

I'll just throw some ideas out:
-calendars
-candles
-inexpensive jewelry
-makeup
-certificates like "This card entitles you to a weekend off from household chores" (great for parents!)
Why are you so against homemade gifts? They're a lot more personal and will also cost less to make than to buy the same thing. You can make your own candleholders (maybe to go with some votives from Yankee Candle?) Storebought ones are expensive and won't have that personal touch.
I won't tell you to get then JUST a card (since you said not to) but giving a card WITH a present might be a nice idea too, with a little message inside.

But if you don't want to get calendars for everybody, try books, bathrobes, alarm clocks, stuffed animals, jewlery, cologne, stickers, slinkies, stationary sets...think about what the person likes! It's very easy once you get going.

kennels2006 answered Saturday November 18 2006, 12:19 pm: Well i would suggest that you buy them cards and ask them what they would like for christmas pick out the cheapest one so that you have anough money for all of them and then but the gifts make sure u have enough money to buy something for you...
