need more books

Question Posted Thursday November 9 2006, 11:17 pm

I am 16 and I love to read. I read just about anything. I'll read classics, sci/fi, poetry, romance, about anything really. I just need some good titles. Anything will help, any genre, titles and authors. Thanks in advance!

Anything by Sararh Dessen is AMAZING!!!!! Seriously. But her best one is This Lullaby, and Her second best is The Truth about Forever.

To Kill a Mockingbird- Harper Lee (Very good book with a deep meaning)

Gossip Girl series are fun to read. There not educational at all, but, like I said, they are fun.

Cut and Crank (two separate books, don't know the author)

Number the Stars

I have lived a thousand years

Uglies series- Scott Westerfield

Go Ask Alice

The Boyfriend List

Try Sharon K Penman. I found her books when I was about your age and still love them. She writes some mystery books, but her historical fiction is fantastic! Try "The Sunne in Splendor", "Here Be Dragons", and "When Christ and his Saints Slept" for starters. Happy reading!

Well the one book that is my all time favorite is Memoirs of a geisha! It was so good, if you love to read you will enjoy it! It is way better than the movie, but then it always is. I would also reccomend Candy by Kevin Brooks(about a girl who is a prostitute on drugs, and is abused by her pimp, and a guy still falls in love trying to help her). That book was really good, it is a close second. To kill a mocking bord was one of the best books ever writeen, too. It was very good, you should definately read that one. Sry, i love to read! The Devil's arithmetic was a really good book, it was sad but very good. I would suggest that book, it really makes you think. The Giver by Lois something, was really good. All of these books are awesome! They are REAL page turners! :) Enjoy!

Marley and Me-John Grogan
The Dashwood Sisters Secrets of Love-Rushton
Flavor of the Week-Shaw

those are my top three on my bookshelf. they're all really awsome books. flavor of the week is kinda short (finished in 5hrs) but its a really good story and it has recipies in it. marley and me was a really good book about a man and his dog. it made me cry but i'm a big animal lover. the dashwood sisters was a really good book. its got some brittish terms in it that you kinda have to figure out on your own (assuming you're american).

hope you enjoy, these books kept me entertained for about 2 weeks.
