i had the same problem, what you have to do is to use as little of your deodorate as possible or don't use it at all for 2-3 days. what i think is happenig is that your deodotarate is "leaking" since you're putting to much of it and it doesn't have (as i'm guessing) that much sweat to fight with. i use Gillet tripple action it works great, but again put as little of it as possible.

heyyy, i sweat a lot too. me and one of my friends always wear a jacket whether it is hot of cold to cover ti and sometimes i even sweat through my jacke. i get so embarrassed. Deoderants have things called anti-persperants and they help you not to perspire(sweat) as much. There make products that are strictly anti-perspirants. I use one called certain-dri. they sell it at like CVS and all sorts of places. i hope this helps.-Leena

i am the exact same way, but not only under my arms, but my feet & hands. most of the time i can't even wear flipflops or i get really bad sweatrings.
it's weird, but true.

my mom was curious about this & she keeps telling me it's my hormones, but after going farther into it, we've decided to go get my thyroids(sp?) checked. which may be what you need to have checked to.

& there is a disease where your armpits sweat all the time, i'm not sure what it's called, but they make medicine for it & you can see a doctor to get it prescribed to you.

anyway you flip it, you may need to go to a doctor.

k, i have this same problem. i only sweat when i get around people. I totally agree with you when you say you think it is a nerve thing. i think you will grow out of it as time passes (i think it could have something to do with hormones) if it really is bothering you alot though you should ask your doctor about it. they can give you certain injections that will prevent excessive sweating. Also you might find the certain dry deodorate might help you....

Hi there,

This is fairly common, and may be a condition that is known as hyperhidrosis (Sometimes misspelled as hyperhydrosis.)

There are many and varied treatments for it, as well as some very good antiperspirants (certain dri, Hydrosal gel) to get you by for now.

Excessive sweating can be very embarrassing, but it is much easier to live with once you have figured out why it is happening.

A trip to your doctor is in order.

Good luck,
