No! it would not be dorky to do that. pick whom ever you want to pick...dont worry about what everyone else thinks. Take whoever you want to take. You dont get a second chance to Re- go to the prom. Well i hope i helped...thanks and BYE

if you like him and you feel an attraction to him go for it.. if your friends dont like it that sucks for them they dont have to go out with him. =]

I know a lot of people that like/date people 1 or 2 years younger than themselves, and no one thinks it's dorky!
I think you should get to know him first, go and chat to him, but not with a whole group of mates, as he's younger than you, if you're with your mates he might think you're taking the mick out of him (I've had this problem before). Try chatting to him in the lunch queue (I've done this before and have made good mates with some boys!). You could ask your friends to come a little later than you and meet you in the lunch queue, they could all come up and say 'hi!' (so you don't look like a loner) while you're in the middle of chatting to him, and then you could introduce them.
Make sure you wait until later to ask him to prom though.
Hope I Helped,

Haha wow.

I've definetly been in a situation like this. But not really having to do with prom.

But if you really think you like him then you shouldn't care what other people think.

i concur with the first person. Who says girls have to go with guys who are older? It doesnt matter that much. If you want to go with a younger guy, you should. There's nothing wrong with it at all!

I don't think so. Whoever made up that rule that girls should only go for guys older than them is really really lame. I say go for it. There really is nothing wrong with that. If people say anything then just ignore them, because who cares.
