help for anorexia i am almost positive i have anorexia, as hard as that is for me to admit. i don't want to tell any of my friends or family, but i know i need help and i cant do it on my own. i went online and searched for help sites, or centers near me to help and i found nothing. the first step is to admit you have a problem, and i am doing that, but now i cant even get help. if you know of any web sites that will help me, sites to find a place near me, or can give me any other advice, i'd appreciate it.

i know you said you don't want to tell your parents or someone else, but please do. it'll help you out so much better in the long run.
if you are too embarrassed or scared to tell your parents, talk to the school psychiatrist(sp?) those tend to help a lot of kids at my school.
here are some great places to call/visit for more information;

please try & get help, this is a serious problem & if you remain untreated, it could possibly lead to death. ]
The only thing i can say is to tell some one you trust, because you need help. It may be hard at first, but it will get easier. Alot of people can die from anoresxiz like becky. Tell someone, we were learning about anorexia,i am glad you admitted it, but you need to tell some one before it is too late! ]
PLEASE do not listen to the person below me (Nikker). Admitting that you have a problem is a good thing and just because you admitt it does not mean your not anorexic. Also, anoerexia DOES NOT just go away like they said...it can be in adults as well as teenagers (many celebirties, for example, who are not teenagers have it) therefore, it does not just disappear as you grow up, but instead can harm your body & kill you. Therefore, it is good you realize you need help. Talk to and adult (parent, guidance counsler, health teacher, doctor, or anybody else). if you don't feel comfortable doing that, call one of these:
National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders
847-831-3438, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, CST
National Eating Disorders Association
1-800-931-2237, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, Pacific Time
National Call Center for At-Risk Youth
1-800-USA-KIDS, 24 hours, for children and teens
PLEASE GET HELP, DO NOT ENDANGER YOURSELF AND YOUR LIFE. GOOD LUCK AND STAY STRONG! ]
I think it's really good that you've admitted to yourself that you have anorexia, but what they mean by admitting is telling an adult.
You're right, you can't do this on your own, you need to just confess this to your mom or dad, whichever you feel the most comfortable telling. And I know you may not feel comfortable at all, but once it's out, you'll feel a lot better knowing that someone knows you have a problem.
Maybe you should look at sites on the best way to go about confronting anorexia and how to approach your parents on it. Just don't let fear stop you from telling them, you have to take care of your body now and not keep letting yourself live like this.
