-Hello,

This is a difficult situation. I know you feel scared about telling your parents but it is the right thing to do. I mean you can hide it but the guilt will build up inside you and the longer you wait, the worse it will be. You won't be able to focus on anything else really. If you do decide to tell you parents, I would have them sit down and with your brother too. He's a good kid, but he might also be in trouble to for lying.

What's the worse that can happen? Whatever it is, it's not ever going to be as bad if you both got hurt in the accident.. think of it that way.

I'm sorry about what happened,
Let me know how it goes,
-HERE4YOU.

dude it'll suck ass if you tell them, but you really should, i'd expect that youd get your license taken away, but your parents might say, well since your courageous enough to tell us then you can keep it. but it doesn't matter, you'll feel better, just tell them.

iffy. okay, well obviously you have the awesome-est brother ever if he took such a big blame.

Since you're asking this question, you obviously (thank god) have guilt in this whole situation. If you do tell your parents, you will probably suffer more concenquences then your bro since 1. you let him take the blame and 2 you actually caused the accident. Your brother may also get in a little bit of trouble since he lied and covered up for you--but then I don't know your parents so I don't know. But that is probably the worse that can happen.

I say talk to your brother about it first. If he doesn't mind you telling the truth, go ahead. If he does mind, ask why and try to reason with things and no yelling or interrupting ... If it was me, I would totally take all the blame as fast as possible and not put it off since the truth will be found out sooner or later and whenever its found out, it will probably stack up the punishment level =/

Is he in trouble with the police? If he is, I'd fess up. Otherwise, I'd let things be. He obviously wanted to help you out.

First there are some questions that I have to ask... what are the risks involved if you tell them that it was you? How would your parents react? What did they do with the car after you wrecked it? If the cops found out that it was you driving and not him, both of you could get in serious trouble. Was anyone else involved? Is he on the insurance? This is really his judgement call, whether or not he takes the blame for you. I'm not sure exactly what will or could happen if they find out that you were driving. You are one lucky sister, though. Your brother must really love you to take the blame for you like that. As long as you guys just keep it to yourself and no one else knows (assuming the cops don't find out), you should be ok. Write me back and let me know the other info and I'll try to help you further. <3 Dana

My advice would be to tell the truth. They'll be a lot harder on you if they figure out you lied about the whole thing. Just suck it up and do it. They'll understand.
Hope I helped!

If your conscience is getting to you, you have to do what you think is right. I can't tell you what to say, cause this decision youve got to make on your own. Mainly, just do what you feel would be right. Hope this helped, and good luck.
