aw.. i remember that. my boyfriend (before we were going out..) used to be SO mean to me and i'd go home and cry. he'd tell me he hated me, and stuff like that. but it turns out that he really liked me. and now we're dating. ironic, isn't it? so maybe this guy is interested in you. just don't let the things he says get to you. i hope it all works out! :)

Maybe the way he's being 'mean' to you is meant to be flirting?? I'm not sure what to say here, since there's not alot of detail, but I'd say that if you like him, go for it and try to flirt and be nice to him. Stuff like that that might get him to stop being mean.
Either that, or try to stay away from him if he's being a really bad friend/person.
