keep trying to think positively...thats good. however, do not tell your self that everything is ok if it isnt. if somethings wrong talk to someone about it. try finding a new hobby that you enjoy. also, if you find a friend who is happy, but can feel sadness or empathy too, they are the best type of person to talk to.

I have been in your situation twice, and I must say that keeping your hopes up seems impossible.

The second time I was depressed is when I realised that, no matter how hard things get, things will eventually get better. If you're having problems related to school, they will go away once you graduate. If you're having problems related to a job, you should try to find a new one. If you're having problems with parents, know that you won't live with them forever. It takes time to get happy, but here are a fiew tips to cheering up. One, get support from family and friends. Two, exercise regularly, eat healthily, and get an adequate amount of sleep. Three, if you are religious, pray. Four, talk to a counselor. Keep in mind that whatever you are going through WILL pass. You will not be depressed forever. Roughly 60% of people have been depressed before, so it is not uncommon to be depressed.

Remember that drugs, alcohol, sex, eating disorders, suicide, and harming yourself in any way can not and will not make you happy.

Its not easy gettin ver depression, i know. but when somethings going wrong do something you like to do and take a brake from all the things that are stressing ouy out making you unhappy. To keep your hopes up:
1)doing something really helps and sounds stupid but it does help
2)excersize really makes you feel good after youve done it
3)listen t music you love and havent heard in ages
4)have your friends oer and do something like a girly night in
What not to do:
1) think about all the things that are going wrong
2)isolate yourself and keep it bottled up
3)start thinking negatively
good luck and hope u feel better and this helped

Dear,hope

Life can be a bitch sometimes but you have to keep your chin up. Things will keep you down unless you don't let them. Remember god is in control and he will be there to take our burdens and pain. Try listening to some happy music or doing things you love.If things keep happening that are bad look at them from another point of view the old saying is true. There's a bright side to everything

Something that always works for me is to make a list of things that make me happy, and things that I would like to do.
Simple things like baking a cake and going to the zoo are always surprisingly high up for me.
Spend time with friends who make you laugh, and try to avoid negative thoughts. This will help you to remember that you didn't always feel like this, and that happiness can be very easy to achieve once you remember how.
Finally, try telling a friend or parent about the things that are worrying you. Just talking about them with someone else can lift the load, and you may find yourself approaching the subject from a completely different angle in future.
Good luck :)
