Are Mail-In-Rebates an honest deal? How often do mail-in-rebates go according to plan?
If I purchase a Motorola Razr cellular phone from TMobile's website, can I trust the likelihood of the rebate? Or would you advise against it?

yes. i would trust it i have had rebates for almost all of my cell phones and they all worked out perfectly fine.but i would suggest not to send it in after the 30 day period you have to try the pphone because if you have already mailed in the rebate then you cant return or exchang your phone. ]
I would advise against it. Mail in rebates are difficult and are just made for you to buy the product. The company is hoping when you buy the product, you wont have time to mail it in or fill out the nessesary forms to get your money back. Their hoping you'll just forget about it.
However if you do mail it in... they make up some lame excuse as to why it was not accepted and they ask you to try and try again. By the third time, your probably going to give up.
So the result is, the company gets to keep your money.
If you want that Motorola Razr that bad, try ebay or see if you can buy a used one from a friend.
or you can save up the money to where you dont even need the rebate. ]
yes they ususaly give u ur money back 10-15 days later. if it doesnt come in aroudn that time then u can call the company and see whats up.=)

Yes they work and they always send you the money back.
I didnt by a cell but when i bought my computer i sent in the mail in rebate and they sent the check back. It takes a month or a little less. so if you send it in and dont get it back right away just wait a little while if its been more then a month just call the company.
hope this helps

i bought a razr from the t-mobile store and filled out and mailed the rebate. about 3 weeks later i got my check for $80. I say its pretty trustworthy ]
Usually they do, unless something comes up.
For example, on retail merchandise that has been on the shelf for a while, or has been shuffled from store-to-store, the possibilty is rather likely. The rebates don't stay valid indefinitely.
In your situation, I'd say that you are looking at an almost guaranteed deal, especially if you redeem it while the offer is active. Wait too long though, and the promotion drops, and you'll likely end up with a worthless rebate form.
I worked a couple years in retail, and the only time I had to deal with those types of problems was on old, out-of-date merchandise (boxed years before with rebate forms), or people that forgot about them and then tried to use them too late. ]
mail in rebates are o easy, and there is nothing to not trust, because they always work. i got a $400 cell phone with a blue tooth piece for FREE!
becuase of like 150 dllars in mail in rebates ]
I have never had a problem with mail in rebates.
Be sure to send exact;y what they ask for and you should have no problem at all. ]
