lianaliana1 answered Thursday August 31 2006, 12:30 am: hey, i'm going into my freshmen year too and knowing how people are, that's probably the exact sort of thing everyone would wear. I like to mix up my style , it helps create a different look. Try going into your closet and layering shirts/ tanks seeing what looks cute. Always add jewelery too :) neckalaces, earings are nice. (Hair down=small earrings, hair up=bigger earrings)If you ask me accessories complete an outfit, so a belt would be cute too. I think you should definitly wear the skirt tho :)
xO_b_r_i_a_n_a_Ox answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 10:35 pm: Yeah, I think that's a cute outfit, I'd wear it lol. But that's pretty much what most people will be wearing. Well at my school anyway. So if I were you, I'd wear something else with it, maybe with other shoes or a big belt, or jewelry or something. By the way, you're lucky, you can wear flip flops I'm not allowed to at schooll :( lol

CHRIStotheTINAA answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 7:37 pm: I have that shirttt :]. I think that'd be a good outfit for the first day of school & straightening your hair would be nice. If you don't want to look like every other girl.. try finding some cute accessories to go with your outfit. Gooddd luck on your first dayy :] [ CHRIStotheTINAA's advice column | Ask CHRIStotheTINAA A Question ]

To make your outfit even more stylish, try a cute pruse, or a bracelet or a necklace. I wore a skirt the first day of school too, and a striped shirt also. However, I found buttons that matched the shirt amazingly well & so I sewed (spelling) then to the butt/pockets of my skirt. It was a person touch that sure wasn`t noticed by many, but it made my skirt different from all the other girls.

If your hair curls try curling your hair, or doing a cute `do` to it, straightening can be super cute, but think about how many girls straighten their hair.. everyday. I know I do. Try curling it or sruching it in, or try a cute clip or something. Something that will add a person touch to your outfit.

Teza answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 5:22 pm: Honestly, I don't like the skirt but the shirt is cute. I don't know how girls dress at your school, but a lot of them wear outfits like that. It's a bit plain though so add a few accesories. A cute purse, maybe a belt and a cute necklace. Do your hair & make up cute and everything will go together. Volleyball2150 answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 3:58 pm: I think that outfit is really cool! I'm not sure how girls at your school are dressed so you actually have to make that decion. But what I can say is maybe do your hair in a really cool hairstyle so theres something different. Heres a website that'll have many lists of styles
