You NEED to take your dog to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Posion is very deadly. If that stuff can kill ants - it can kill your dog!

I did some research & came across this website.

I hope your puppy will be ok!

Hope I helped!

you must see your vet IMMEDIATLY! Poison of any kind can kill your dog. If it kills ants, then it is highly possible it could kill your dog, or make him very very sick. Please go see your vet NOW! I hope your puppy is ok. xoxo

Call the VET asap! They can atleast tell you wether or not it could seriously harm him. Or if there's something you can do to help the dog throw it up quicker. I'm sure alot of ppl gave you good advice on this topic, but when it comes to the health and welfare of someone you love, seek medical assistance. It won't cost you nothing just to call and ask.

I looked up ant bait and what to do if it was swallowed, here's what it said-of course for humans though. "Ingestion- Call poision control center or Doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poision control center or a Dr. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow."
Here is the wesbite for the Animal Posion Control Center (ASPCA) [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

He needs to see the vet asap. Ant poison isn't as bad as rat poison, but can still be dangerous for small dogs.
If this is likely to happen again, you can get animal friendly ant powder.
Hope he's going to be ok, best of luck.

My dog has eaten somethings also, but she just pukes it up and sometimes is a little sick. I say take your dog to the vet. They will know what to do and make your dog better. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
theres a website that has more information on poisionus household items and how to take care of your dog not getting to them.

I hope your dog is okay and that I helped!

ant poison probably isn't as strong as rat poison (which can cause harm to dogs) but i'd still take him to the vet just to make sure. what kind of dog do you have? how much does he weigh? if you have a bigger dog, i don't think it will hurt him. hopefully he'll throw it up and get it out of his system. if you have a smaller breed, i'd definitely take him to the vet. i doubt that your dog is going to die or anything, he just might get sick. but really, the best thing to do is take him to the vet and make him drink lots of water. they might want to keep him at the vet overnight to make sure everything's ok. i hope your dog is okay, i know how scary that can be... i have a pomeranian and sometimes she gets into stuff and gets sick... anyway, i think your dog should be fine.

hey, well i have 4 puppies but three of them are 1 and the other one is 2. but anyways they always eat random stuff, like pencils, ants and such. they have always been fine so i wouldnt worry about it. but if he shows any signs of being sick then bring him to the vet.
