Styes can be caused by a staph infection and sometimes will not resolve completely without antibiotics. If you have used a warm wash cloth or eye drops you could be cross contaminating yourself..and therefore spreading the infection. The best bet is to make an appointment with your Dr to get the right kind of treatment. I wouldn't do anything else, but take tylenol or ibuprofen for the discomfort until you see a Dr.

You could have developed them from having low immunity following an illness or picked them up from somewhere an active virus was still present.
If you touch one then touch another part of your eyes you will transfer the virus to that area as well. It is important that you try to avoid this. You will need to see either your doctor or pharmicist, depending on how severe the problem is, they should be able to give you cream or drops to clear them up.
Don't allow anyone else to touch them, or they risk catching them as well if they do not wash their hands straight away.
They are not serious, just annoying and sometimes itchy or painful.
Hope that helps and good luck.

The best thing to do is get to a doctor and get it checked out. He can remove them and cauterize the area so it's harder for them to come back, but it may take several trips to get rid of them all. I've seen them before, and they can be really persistant and painful. Don't try anything yourself. These aren't like zits that you can pop or or something.

Good luck!

Well since most styes are caused from infection and getting something in your eyes, simply use a warm/hot rag and lay it over your eyes. Keep it on there until the rag gets cold and put it on again with new warm water. Try your best not to itch it since that can make it worse. There are also drops, and otc medicines for it, as well, in case if simpy using warm water isn't enough.

Well they come because of a virus that had entered your eyes.It entered because you probably once rubbed your eyes(with your hands and fingers)and your hands were dirty so the viruses on your hand got transfered to your eyes.To get rid of them you need to wash your face and eyes well and you need to buy eyedrops you can find at a pharmacy that will totally vanish them.

Hey,
yes i know what sys are, they are An infection of the sebaceous gland of the eyelid, and all the advice i can give you is that its necessary to consult a doctor, and to get medical treatment, because not just because one or two went away, means that your eye will be okay. You have to consult a doctor, because he will tell you the right medicine to take, and he will know more than anyone 's advice here on the website.
So goodluck:) and other than that, you are free to post any problems ,troubles, worries or concerns that you have. And if you need anything personal, then please be free to contact me.

Ye aumm thats alot of stys for one eye. I would deff get that checked out.

Cvs has a eye gel called STY. you can get that and it helps take some of the pain away.

Other then that use hot rags and put them over your eyes.
