my friend..
ok, my like best friend, has told me weird things ever since we were in like 5th or 6th grade. Like about God. & she told me yesterday, that god told her to like walk through a closet & she would go to heaven. & she thought she saw a white sparkly light. & then she thought yesterday, late at night, she saw a red lightt. & like she thought shes seen like jesus before & stuff.. so my question is, is she like pyscho? or is she really seeing this stuff? like, it was just weird. & like her mom, takes sleeping pills to fall asleep, her dad is like weird.. he takes pills for everything. he tells her that shes fat, when she probaly only weighs like 90 pounds & shes 13. & like he just puts alot of pressure on his kids..
do you think that has anything to do with it? like she always gets so worked up. & i dont really know what to say to her.

It's quite possible that your friend has some deep seated wounds because of abuse from her parents. She may be looking for a release and fantasizing about ways to get to a better place. People who hallucinate believe what they are seeing is real--just like you are reading these words---it's that real to them!
The thing is, if she is convinced she sees these things, don't try to argue with her, there's no sense. Just agree. If she has an untreated mental illness, your words alone aren't going to change anything. It doesn't sound likely that her parents will help her, but perhaps an adult can talk to her Mom about this and convince her to get an evaluation. If she is religious..call her pastor and explain all this to him. That may just be the key to getting her the help she needs.

G-d's ways are indeed mysterious to us mortals, but it seems unlikely to me that He would tell a 13 year old girl she could go to Heaven just by walking though a closet.
The symptoms you're describing, seeing things that aren't there and hearing voices that aren't there, sound a lot like the symptoms of Schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia often first manifests during adolescence, the theory being that the changes that are going on in the adolescent brain somehow don't quite go right.
Of course, a diagnosis by a non-doctor from a third party story over the Internet is very suspect. She should be seen by a doctor because there are several possible Physiological as well as Psychological problems that could be giving her these symptoms.
You should talk to your parents about it. Then they can go with you together to talk to her parents.
She needs to get the help she needs before she hears a voice tell her to do something more dangerous than walk through a closet.

Maybe God is talking to her. Maybe because her parent or homelife or wutever is so wierd she needs that. She needs to belive she's special (not just wierd like it seems everything else is) and that God does want to with her because her family isn't (not phisically...you know wut i mean right?). Maybe she wants you to know that. maybe she also wants attention from you because you've been her friend and she knows it won't be neggative attention like her dad gives her. She wants you to be a friend and know that you'll be there even if she is physco. i hope you will.

God can speak to you. He may not just speak, but he can send signs. Your friend could be lying, but you should still listen to her. She's your friend not a mental patient. Hope I helped.

something is definitley wrong with your freind here and something psycological is behind it too.She probably has a LOT of family problems,or health problems,lack of confidence and school problems and a really wild imajination you need to help her.talk to YOUR mom about this mabey she has an idea what this can be or if her parents are good people mabey you can talk to her mom.if that wont work then its either your freind really needs to go to a psycologist or she could be lying to get the attention she lacks at home.advice her to go to a psycologist.

Dear,friend. It seems that your friend may have an active over imagenation i am a strong follwer of god and i should know myself since i too saw some strange things before. Ok here's a theory if she's having presure with her dad she may be telling you these things because she wants to escape and be with god so she doesn't have to deal with reality...the best thing i would do is talk with her dad as best as you can and maybe sit down and have her write down her thoughts and feelings...as for the fat thing i think she should talk to her doctor to disscuss the pills...i too have trouble going to sleep and belive it or not there is some pills that you can take that are natural to help you fall asleep you get them from this company that is all narutal i kid you not it's called Shaklee look into it ^^ on the other hand..some things you cannot control it's best to pray about it and leave it in gods hands. its her conceious omgosh i went through the same thing!! like i would think if i didn't go pick up that piece of trash a mile back from walking my mom would die and liike all this stuff and tell her to just stopp listening to iit or doing whatt her conceious is telling her and it will go away- mine went on for about 3 months off and on but then i just stopped doing what my concious told me all together adn it worked!!
