ive been dating this amazing guy for about a month now and we met online. i know him through a friend but we met online. the only thing that sucks it that he lives 40 mins away so i wont get to see him much. hes an amazing guy and i never want to lose him. should i keep working at it?

40 minutes is nothing. i used to travel half an hour on the bus everyday to school and college so that 40 min distance should be no problem.
i'm guessing your young if you think it is, although you dont say how old you and your boyfriend are.
I'm not sure if you've met in person yet, but when i was 16 i met my boyfriend online and we were together for 2 years so yes it can work, he lived about a 2 hour train journey away from me and we saw each other 4 days a week so you have to trya nd come to an arangment so you can keep your relationship going.
If you havnt met him yet then i would do as a month is a long time to be "dating" someone you've never met.
Although play it safe, meet in public and dont go anywhere quiet with him, when i met my boyfriend for the first time we kind of had a 3 day date, as i went on holiday with my family just so i could meet him, it was actually my mums idea. so they got a holiday too.
We met in a town though and stayed in busy places, thats the safest thing to do so if you meet your boyfriend then make sure your in a public place.
If you really like eachother then you can make it work, long distance relationships take more effort, but 40 minutes isn't long distance so you should have no problem x

OMGSH! sameee here! I love him to death. Go for it. I just keep thinkin of how hes gonn abe drivin soon and then we can do whatever we want .. and then we can go where ever..I'm gonna marry him. No. Internet relationships never workout. & how do you know hes not cheating on you? I mean its not like you'd ever find out. To me, in my opinion internet dating is stupid. Half of dating someone is for you to be with them, & hang out. Not sit online or on the phone. Because it should be more then that. So, yeah. Thats my advice.. kbye.
