lol.
not the best picture. :D
& see how my hair is a bit lighter on the side?
that's just the light. i don't have highlights er anything.
and about your hair, i have about the same color hair as you do, and my hairdresser has always been after me to get copper colored highlights. She said this for my hair color, and for my brown eyes. You have blue eyes, but the copper color will still bring them out.
As well, for the makeup part of your question, Almay makes a line of makeup called Almay intense i-color. They have different sets of makeup for different colored eyes. They make eyeshadow trios, eyeliner, and mascara, all colored specifically to bring out your eyes, depending on what colour they are. Check out their website for more info! OoOhaileyOoO answered Sunday July 16 2006, 8:24 pm: I know what you mean! I've been going all out for the new school year. Anyways... With your hair light brown highlights would go well. For makeup light brown eyeshadow, and of course lip gloss (lipstick is overrated). By the picture it looks like you don't really need maskara or eyeliner. For the locker a mirror, pencil holder, magnets for your pictures, and if your lockers are big enough maybe an organizing shelf unit (if you know what the heck it is). But I can't help you with a new style, you like what you like.
Hope the new school year goes well for ya!

kckstartmyheart answered Sunday July 16 2006, 3:23 pm: well with your hair color i would get light red or blonde. but i would strongly suggest a light brown. something that will blend and go with very well. for your locker you could get magnet to decorate it and they have all sorts of magentic thing now adays such as mirors picture frames white boards to write notes on just about anything. for your style it depends on what you like and what your school allows. i personally like a cute skirt and a nice shirt but jeans are very in. shoe ...many styles are in such as ballet flats, clogs, sandles..not JUST tennis shoes! styles that are pretty in and are very cute are abercombie american eagale areopostal pac sun or if you dont like those style or dont wanna spend quiet that kind of money then target marshells wal mart have cute styles that are very affordable and dont cost to much and they usally have great sales. as for make up with your eyes i would were purples and blues. or something sipmle like brown or for dramdic affects balck. i would use some masscarra and mabye a little bit of eyeliner some foudation and blush and a bit of lip gloss. GOOD LUCK! and i hope this helped a TON!

caramella answered Saturday July 15 2006, 11:13 pm: well i have about the same hair color and tried blond and red highlights and trust me red would look a lot better on you....blonde makes you look older while red makes you look younger and cute and about the makeup nowadays too much makeup is considered fake so you can put a lil blush on and lipgloss and if you want to have on eyeshadow i think purple would make your eyes stand out more or light blue [ caramella's advice column | Ask caramella A Question ]
missmad127 answered Saturday July 15 2006, 5:28 pm: Hair: i think a very dark red would look good with your hair color.it would blend in good from a distance, but when you really look it would stad out.
Locker: you can buuy magnets at target, wal mart, eckerds, etc. and hang pictures of you and your friends up. you can also get pictures and quotes out of magazines and hang those up too.
make up: i have blue eyes similar to yours and i usually use blue and purples. you want to put it on, but not over do it. like if its a bright color not much would be needed. if the color doesn't show up that well you can really blend alot of colors and sorta create your own.
with foundation i find that neutrogena skin clearing oil free makeup works good just find the color that best matched your skin tone and use a cosmetic wedge to evenly apply. not much is needed because it will spread easily. it also clears blemishes, helps prevent breakouts, contains shine with oil absorbing powders, and gives you a fresh natural look.
orphans answered Saturday July 15 2006, 4:06 pm: Hair: Your hair already looks like it has some natural highlights. You should try gold brown or red highlights. It will look natural and good.
Locker: Go to like target, they always have like cute magnest and stuff to put in your locker!! and their cheap.
Clothes: Abercrombie; Hollister; and Express have really good clothes. Their expensive but nice.
You can also look at some like fashion magazines..that way you can find like a style that you like.
Make Up: Estee Lauder has really good make up. Its in department stores (Nordstroms, JC Penny ect.) What i did was i went there and asked someone to put make up on me, just tell them that you are just starting to wear make up and you want to find a foundation or coverup ( or both) that is light and matches your skin, some mascara (and eyeliner if you want) , some blush and some eyeshadow that will look good on you. Tell them that you also need to learn how to do it yourself.
They will probably talk you through it as they put it on you. Now when wash your face..you should use Idealist Skin Refinisher(from Estee Lauder). It moisterizes your face without it being like oily although its not a moisterizer. Then you put the make up on. They may have different stuff they will recomend to you though but if your not sure def. ask for that because it works.
Good luck! [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

babiigirl answered Saturday July 15 2006, 2:35 pm: Well for starts you are very pretty.
-I had darker hair then you and i put blonde blonde highlights in my hair and they turned out darker then the box color. If you are going to have someone (a friend, parent, sibling) do your hair you have to match your natural hair color to the box. And i don't thing red would look right.
-For your locker Your can get a bunch of pictures of your friends && famous people that you like and put magnet strips on the back and hang them on your locker. Get a locker mirror. A dry erase board so you can write yourself notes or your friends can leave you notes. Get cute magnets and stick them to you locker.
-You should wear brownish eyeshadow. Not any of those crazy colors like lime green, hot pink, etc...For the foundation you have go to walmart or a drugstore & find a powder Or liquid foundation. You can wear black or brown eyeliner. And lipgloss makes your lips shine.

xomichelle891xo answered Saturday July 15 2006, 1:59 pm: Hm. Well Im sure youre gorgeous but the picture link did not work.
For highlights, I dont think red will look great. Its just my honest opinion. If its dark brown, dont go for blonde either. I think caramel colored highlights would look pretty. :] Because dark and light will clash.
To decorate your locker, find cool things at places like target. You can find a case to put your makeup in, a magnetic mirror, a pad of paper to write little notes to yourself, lots of extra pens and pencils, I always have an extra shirt - haha I know its stupid but you never know. You might need it if your other shirt gets a spill or whatnot. Those are pretty much all the locker essentials.
For make-up, go natural. Too much makeup for school makes you look fake. Go for a neutral color eye shadow, clear gloss, foundation, blush and mascara. No blue or green eyeshadows or red lips! Keep it natural colors. :]
How to put on foundation:
1. Begin with clean hands and a clean face.
2. Apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type. Let it set a few minutes, particularly if your skin is oily.
3. Camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer. (Image 1)
4. Select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type and the coverage you wish to achieve. The color should match your skin, disappearing when blended well. (Image 2)
5. Shake the bottle well to mix the formula. Or, simply open a stick or compact version.
6. Place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. Dip your makeup sponge or your middle finger into it.
7. Apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin.
8. Blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. Pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline. (Image 3)
9. Set the foundation with loose powder immediately following application.
Eyeshadow:
1. Prime the eyelids by dusting them with a small amount of loose powder.
2. Select a light base shadow. Using a shadow brush, sweep it across your entire lid, from brow to lash line.
3. Use a medium-toned shade to cover your lower lids.
4. Contour the crease of your eyelid with a dark shade, using a smaller eye shadow brush. This color can also work as an eyeliner (see the next section for instructions).
5. Blend shadow by stroking the lid gently with an eye shadow brush. Don't use your finger'you could wipe off the shadow entirely.
6. Use a cosmetic puff and a little pressed powder to tone down heavy shadow. Shake any excess powder off the puff, then press it gently on your lid.
1. Consider the types of mascara and select one appropriate for your lashes and the occasion. You have a choice of lengthening, thickening, long-wearing, conditioning and waterproof formulas, among others. For day, you might decide to add length, while a night on the town may require a long-wearing or thickening formula.
2. Select a color. If you have blond or red lashes, opt for brown mascara. Darker-lashed women can consider brown for a casual look, and black or brown-black for more pronounced or dramatic lashes.
3. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, if desired, and apply all other eye makeup prior to your mascara.
4. Remove the wand from the tube in one pull. Pumping the mascara will push air into the tube, potentially drying out the formula and introducing bacteria into it.
5. Begin with the underside of your upper lashes, moving the brush slowly upward toward the tips of your lashes. Always hold the wand parallel to your eyelid. Roll the brush slowly on the upward stroke to promote separation of the lashes.
6. Allow the first coat of mascara to dry before applying the second coat in the same manner.
7. Use an eyelash comb to separate the wet lashes. Also blot the lashes with tissue paper if necessary to remove excess mascara.
8. Use less mascara for the lower lashes. Begin where the lashes meet the rim of the lower eyelid, and gently stroke downward.
9. Remove any stray mascara around the eye with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of eye makeup remover.
Tips:
Contact lens wearers should stick to waterproof mascara formulas, as they break down more slowly, minimizing the chance of any flakes getting into the eyes.
Always remove eye makeup thoroughly before going to bed. This will keep lashes healthier and prevent any mascara from getting into your eyes during the night.
Apply mascara after eye shadow and eyeliner.
Blush:
1. Select a color of blush that resembles the natural glow of your cheeks after you exercise. Consider having a lighter color for day, and a darker tone for a more dramatic evening look. Keep your blush in the same color family as your lipstick.
2. Consider the type of blush best suited to your skin type. Cream blush works very well for drier skin, as it can help to keep skin hydrated. Powder blush is better suited to oily skin.
3. Complete the application of foundation, powder and all eye makeup before applying blush.
4. Use a full, round brush for the application of your powder blush, as it will make for a softer and more professional look than the brush that comes with the blush. This should not be the same brush you use to apply your loose powder.
5. Place a small amount of blush on the brush and gently tap off any excess. Or, place a small amount of cream on your middle finger. (Image 1)
6. Look in the mirror and smile. (Image 2)
7. Place powder blush on the apple of your cheek and gently brush up your cheekbone toward your hairline. Dot cream blush beginning at the apple, and gently blend up the cheekbone toward the hairline. (Image 3)
8. Focus your blush at the outside of your face near your hairline if you have a fuller face. For high cheekbones, concentrate blush in the center of your face to accentuate your bones.
9. Blend a little blush down your cheek for a little more natural, less dramatic look.
