Yes you can pee with a tampon in. You urinate from your urethra, not your vaginal opening where your tampon is inserted. You should not wear a tampon if you do not have your period. The Tampon will absorb your natural moisture in your uterus, and it will hurt pretty bad trying to take it out. The pain you feel when pulling out a dry tampon is the dry cotton, pulling your uterus. Don't feel scared about it, just ease it out slowly. Most of the time if it hurts to pull it out, it hasent absorbed enough fluid, and you should probly leave it in for more than 2 hours. Good Luck! Emma

A tampon goes into your vagina. The vagina is the hole where your period and babies come out.

Your pee comes through your urethra - a much smaller hole that you would be unable to fit a tampon in. The two are unconnected and it's perfectly okay to pee while wearing a tampon.

It's not a good idea to wear a tampon if you do not have your period. First, there is something called Toxic Shock Syndrome. You can read more about this on the info leaflet that came with your box of tampons. Basically, to ensure you good health you should only wear a tampon while you are on your period, and you should be sure to change it regularly.

Pulling out a dry tampon tends to feel uncomfortable as the cotton can 'catch' or 'tug' on your vaginal skin as you pull it out. This also increases the chance that you will leave these fibres in your vagina, which isn't healthy.

Have a look at the leaflet in the tampon box as it'll give you more detailed info. Best of luck.

You can pee with your tampon in, but DO NOT wear one if you are NOT on your period. It isn't healthy. Taking out a dry Tampon hurts way more then taking out a wet one. Make sure you know about TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrom); make sure you read up on it. Hope I helped.

You can pee with a tampon in, like if you dont have another one with you.. but if not, then its probably best to change it just for sanitary reasons. It doesnt hurt all that bad, but it does feel a tad bit worse then when its not dry.

Well, My aunt says she pee's with a tampon in, but i dont think you should. Its probably bad for you.

&& if you wear a tampon without your period then it will hurt very badly when you try to take it out, this is because their is no moisture so it wont just slide out like it would if there was blood in it.

Yes, it does hurt more to take a dry tampon out. Believe me. ouchies

Good luck
