orphans answered Sunday July 2 2006, 11:19 pm: Use like a 50 waterproof sunscreen and get out of the water every once in a while and put on more. Also stay in the shade when your out of the water. Good Luck! :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
uisforukelele answered Saturday July 1 2006, 8:24 pm: you could get some high SPF sunscreen (make sure it's waterproof!) if you get a high enough SPF... over 30 or 45... then you shouldn't tan. at least, that's been my experience... but i never really tan anyway! try it out :) [ uisforukelele's advice column | Ask uisforukelele A Question ]
beachpeach answered Saturday July 1 2006, 2:20 am: You can use a large shirt or cute coverup to shield some parts of your body from the sun but when you actually go in the water, make sure to wear at least SPF 30, SPF 45 is probably the best, to shield the harmful UVA/UVB rays. Even though some formulas say that they are waterproof, after you get out of the water, re apply the sunscreen. Also, even ifyou don't get in the water, re apply your sunscreen about every 2 hours for maximum protection. Protection from the sun will help the sun's rays temporarily changing your skin tone. LM answered Saturday July 1 2006, 2:09 am: A sunblock with a really high SPF. Also, avoiding the sun between the hours of 10AM and 2PM will keep you out of the strongest of the sun's rays and UV radiation, which are bad for you anyways. You could also try Jergen's Natural Glow every few days, to even out your skin tone.
cheburashka answered Saturday July 1 2006, 1:28 am: use an spf 50-70 sunblock, that should help for sure. i think they're intended for babies or people with extremely sensitive skin or even albino, but if you don't want to get any more tan, it should work. besides, uv radiation is bad for your skin anyway - it increases the risk of skin cancer and makes it age faster. so, if you use a really strong sunblock, it would be better both for your looks and for your health. confusedbabii answered Friday June 30 2006, 10:45 pm: you should use waterproof SPF 30 or higher. that way you won't get tan while outside, and it won't rub off when you're swimming.
