And that Almay stuff from chicchicaabr's advice REALLY works. They have Bring Out the Brown, just ask someone to help you with applying until you can do it yourself.
Also, don't wear black mascara or eyeliner, get brown or brownish-black..or even light brown. The your eyes would stand out more if highlited browns. [ LoveMeDo's advice column | Ask LoveMeDo A Question ]
Chicchicaabr answered Tuesday June 27 2006, 10:28 am: Go to a department store and to a makeup counter, like M.A.C., Lancome, Clinique, or Este Lauder. They have great eyeshadows and eyeliners and the people there will show you how to apply them and make them work for you. If you'd feel more comfortable with an eyeshadow designed exactly for your eyes, try Almay's line of "Bring out the... [hazel, blue, etc.] They have instructions on the back and you can buy it at Target or Walgreens. Hope that helps!

IAmShammay answered Sunday June 25 2006, 9:29 pm: i have the same problem, and i found that using an eyelash curler and lengthening mascara really helps. a lot of guys notice it too.
i also use M.A.C. eyeshadow just on the lid. its a dark purple color with gold sparkles to it. its great.
Helpful answered Sunday June 25 2006, 9:15 pm: Blue eyeshadow makes brown eyes stand out more. Just wipe a hint of it over your eyelid. It doesn't even have to be expensive. Hope I helped. [ Helpful's advice column | Ask Helpful A Question ]

rainxindoors answered Sunday June 25 2006, 5:28 pm: Well I always thought that eye liner makes all eyes darker.. but thats just my opinion.
I think putting just mascara and some eye shadow
will make them look simple, yet pretty.
Good luck and have fun =] [ rainxindoors's advice column | Ask rainxindoors A Question ]
TEENAGExHEARTS answered Sunday June 25 2006, 4:32 pm: i would use a brown eyeliner instead of black, because black can look too harsh on brown eyes. now for eyeshadow (this is simple i promise =D] just put a medium shade of green on your whole lid to make your beautiful brown eyes POP!
betterthanyou_X3 answered Sunday June 25 2006, 4:02 pm: Black or dark brown eyeliner is always good with brown eyes. But not too much. Like you said, it just makes them darker. What you want to do is put a THIN layer of eyeliner across your eye lid.
Then, use a shimmer beige above the eyeliner. Not all over your eye lid, just a layer before the crease. That'll highlight your eyes. Then take either a light pink or a purple and dab it on the outside corners or your eyes and maybe a little over the beige. That'll bring out the brown of your eyes.
