kallan answered Monday June 19 2006, 1:41 pm: Umm.. they have these things called like sea bands or something (they probably have them at your local drugstore so you can just ask someone who works there) and they have little white balls on them and you put those right over where you would take your pulse, also, yo ucan try motion sickness pills, but they tend to make you drousy. So, I hope I helped! [ kallan's advice column | Ask kallan A Question ]

hopeihelped answered Monday June 19 2006, 10:46 am: THE PATCH! When I went on a cruise, one of my friends was using the patch and it worked GREAT. However, they're mega expensive. But it'll be worth it. GOOD LUCK! [ hopeihelped's advice column | Ask hopeihelped A Question ]
KisaKiss19 answered Monday June 19 2006, 8:31 am: yes-like all the other people said- a medication for this should do the trick-and on a cruise its such like a hotel that you'll most likely forget your on a ship when your inside! also dont use those things that you put on your wrist-my friend used them once when we went on a feild trip with a boat-she didnt feel good the whole way.also i would aviod eating pure sucar (candy-pixie stixxss) cause they cause stomache aches-it might only make it worse :(
good luck-have fun ^.^

Tulipg17 answered Monday June 19 2006, 7:47 am: LOTS of people get seasick, and there are many ways that you can cope with this. If it is really severe and you already know that, get a perscription from your doctor for medication and bring it with you. There are also over the counter medications, like dramamine, that you can by and take (the cruise line will also have some on hand for passengers like yourself). Some people find that taking ginger supplements also alliviate the nausea. Cruises are so much fun, there is no reason why you should have to suffer and miss out.
