Okay..I have a reaaally bad Tanline on my chest from a halter top swimsuit. My 8th grade Promotion is in 2 weeks, and i'm wearing a strapless dress. What should I use? Will self tanner work? Oh, and I don't want to go to a tanning salon.
BlahBlahBlah answered Monday June 5 2006, 10:19 pm: i personally wouldnt use sunless tanner, only b/c then your tan would look uneven, because you are already dar in certain places. I would lay out in the sun without your straps on and hopefully the tann will kind of "fill in" otherwise, i wouldnt worry about the tanline too much, it will just look like your ready for summer!
good luck [ BlahBlahBlah's advice column | Ask BlahBlahBlah A Question ]
helpachick answered Monday June 5 2006, 5:21 pm: hey i would try either tanning lotion or spray on. or the thing that me personaly would do, would be to layout in the sun and like pull the straps of your swimsuit down and so you can tan over the white strap line. xoxo helpachick [ helpachick's advice column | Ask helpachick A Question ]
HerElegance answered Monday June 5 2006, 4:16 pm: You can do one of two things.
1. Try a spray on tan. They're fairly cheap and fast.
2. Try an at home self tanner. Neutrogena has really great self tanners. Just be sure to apply a little at a time to the area you want to tan. If you gradually build the color, you can make sure it will match up with the tan you already have and that will also eliminate the "orange" effect. Most girls turn orange because they put too much on too quickly. [ HerElegance's advice column | Ask HerElegance A Question ]
herbivore answered Monday June 5 2006, 6:43 am: hey. my advice would be to use a self tanner. i was skeptical at first, but then it worked great! i used Banana Boat Sunless Tanner. you should apply it everywhere to make sure that you look even. it lasts for about a week, so i would use some now, see how it turns out, and then use it again before the Promotion. hope this helps!! :] ♥-X-♥ [ herbivore's advice column | Ask herbivore A Question ]
DancinCutie08 answered Monday June 5 2006, 6:13 am: i would say your only real solution (unless you want to lay out for endless hours) is to go get a spray on tan.. although some self tanners work spray on tans give you the least orange look and are only like $10. i know you don't want to go to a tanning salon but that is the only way to cover up bad tan lines and still look normal without and orange tint [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
