alrighttt. SO. =]
right now i would say im somewhat pretty. prettier then most girls in my school, but not the prettiest which annoys me because like. im what almost 14 and never had a boyfriend but girls who are much uglier and dont have personalities do. (i have one. and im not trying to sound conceited cause im not=] )
i want to do somewhat of a makeover during the summer. like right now im really starting to come out of my shell more because that happens alot when it starts to get hott out. anyways. im trying to do a makeover during summer.
this is what i want to do:
-grow my hair longer.
-get REALLY tan. so that it will last a little longer.
-get in better shape. like tone up.
-be alot more out going.
the thing about that is i get alot more
outgoing outside of school with people who
dont go to my school cause i dont care what
they think of me. and i also get alot more
outgoing towards the summer just because.
i want to do this before high school because im now in 8th grade and like.. well im going to high school next year. i want it to be like a fresh start. haha. =] so yeah any pointers about high school. like do you have class with kids who are in higher grades? and like yeah. any ideas on how to do those things i listed.

i'm the same exact way you are! kinda more quiet in school but outside of school esp. when i'm around my good friends i'm loud and outgoing. the key is just be really friendly to everyone, but don't be fake. People like people who make them feel good about themselves. and being known as a friendly, nice girl is a good reputation to have.
and highschool will also bring the boys! having a boyfriend isn't something you can just make happen, you know? just find someone you like, there will be plenty new ones, and have self-confidence.
people are always going to have opinions, but don't let the fear of what other's think stop you from having fun.
and what you said about having classes with older people: every school is different, of course, but mostly unless you're in advanced classes you'll be mostly with your grade. Don't let the older ones intimidate you though, if you think about it they really aren't THAT much older than you.

okay i moved to a new town last year; and i was nervous about starting a new school but i made a good group of friends quickley. well we got in a very big fight and that all ended.; anyways there was this boy, Dave, well he is always very very sweet to me. but hes not exactly popular. i mean this sounds horrible but i think it would make more people make fun of me. i dont know if i can handle more of that in this school. so do i go for the kid who treats me really really nicely. or ignore him because he is a loser to everyone else? he doesnt have many friends but he is somewhat close with my old friends. i feel bad if i say no and please if your gonna tell me to not listen to what other people say could you give me some things to do to not listen? im really bad with stress [im a cutter of four years]. please and thanks. don't let this stress you out too much. Kids your age can be really really mean believe me i know, but you shouldn't let them influence what choices you make in your life. she sounds like she likes you, but since you've been so close for so long it's hard to say. some girls are just overly friendly and come off as flirtatious just as their personality. the best way to know if she likes you or not is to just ask! and let her know your not gonna be bummed if it turns out she doesnt like yyu and your friendship wont be akward and all

My hair is naturally frizzy and wavy.
Everymorning during the school year i straighten it for the most part
But my hair never looks the best until that night when it gets a little greesier (prob. because i dye it straighten it and sometimes blow dry it) but if i wash it every other day it looks really bad (like super greesy) the next day if i don't wash it
My problem is i am going to go running everymorning come home shower blowdry it and the whole shabang but my problem is it always looks dry and frizz's easily if it has been washed in the past 12 hours or so. I know its not the straighter but more of just my hair is dry but i know i have to shower after i run because I am going to be sweaty
My question is how can i wash my hair and get all the sweat out but keep it from being as dry looking (and it frizzes right away once i step outside if ti was freshly washed because its humid where i live most of the time). I was thinking maybe just rinsing it with water would work and acually shampoo it before bed but i wasn't sure
any ideas?
any products to help? I am not going to stop straightening or change straightener so don't suggest that (unless you use the most amazing straighter ever for under $50 because I use a helen of troy and i love it. but don't make your choice of straightener your adivce alone)

Sunsilk just came out witth this new line and there are different colors for the different problems you have .. you would probably be pink for dry. they have a bunch like poof, kinky, flat, etc.
i use it in blue for poofiness and it works really well.
get a cream too that you can use when you get out of the shower or before u go out in the humidity. sunsilk also has them to go along with the shampoos so im sure tthatd work
i straighten my hair too alot and id never stop either, but blowdrying isnt always necessesary and sometimes its good to just give ur hair a break and stick it in a bun.. especially if its rainy anyway.. and since you have to shower everyday sometimes maybe just use conditioner and no shampoo thats what my hairdresser told me to do to keep the color from fading

Don't be constantly thinking that your friend isn't having fun .. because if you try too hard, it'll just be more boring. Go on the computer & chat with friends, watch movies, take pictures, EAT !, do stupid stuff. order pizza and then dress up in CRAZY outfits for when the pizza guy comes. make ice cream sundaes! gossip, and you dont need a car, go outside and just walk around the neighborhood. sometimes its more fun just walking with no destination =)
dont worry about doing stuff your friend will think is cool, do stuff that you'll have fun doing and who caares if its for losers

So im 15/f and i so far have never took any chances! Ive never even kisseda boy for crying out loud becuase i am scared. I think my parentals made me this way. Anyways All my friends ONCE in awhile get together and drink. Now i dont want any rude comments but would it be all that bad to try it once? I am sick of being called the good girl, or princess! I'm somewhat in the same situation you are in.
As much as I hate to admit it, my parents have really made an impact on my life.
My friends are also big drinkers, but I never join in. I'm usually not the only sober one so it isn't as bad, but I can understand how you might feel left out if you are the only sober one. If your friends respect you like mine do, they won't pressure you. Just tell them you have to get up early the next morning or just say that you dont wanna get caught. It isnt worth getting caught and grounded. Trying it once isn't that bad, but don't binge. I'm sure everyone will try it once or twice, but it's the ones who aren't smart and secure with tthemselves that become addicted.
and don't worry about kissing guys.
I've only kissed 2 and now it doesnt even seem like the big deal that i thought it would be. It's not going to change how people act towards you because of the number of guys you kissed. As long as you are nice and friendly to everyone, eventually a guy will come around for you =)

i have curling shampoo. the one i have is john frieda frizz-ease. and the bottle says curly on it. my hear's like pin straight and it gave it a nice wave, but you have to sort of use it for a couple days and you start to see it more.

That's normal. Actually, in the old days, the morning after a couple got married and they were expected to have had sex that night, they would hang the bloody sheets on the clothesline for the whole town to see, and if there were no blood then people would assume that the woman had had sex before her marriage night.

Well, Wet Seal always has cute shirts if you like that flashy, glitter type. they have good "club" type shirts. cute skirts hhmm just like a cute jean one you can get at hollister or abercrombie. it'll be expensive but i use mine all the time.
