Push-ups primarily target your chest and secondarily target your triceps and front deltoids, not the abs- Gatorade is among the worst drinks in the world and you really don't need to do weighted triceps extensions in your situation. Here's what you do and it's simple:
-Bring your hands closer together when you do your push-ups and if you can do them with the hands together then you are putting the maximum stress on the triceps muscles that you desire. The farther apart your hands are- the less arm becomes involved and the more the primary chest muscles become involved so all you need to do is bring your hands closer together to take a little more chest out of the movement and bring in more arm. Next, you might want to consider going to workout at some place with weights every weekend or so. In fact, you should probably buy some weights, not heavy maybe 5-10 pounds depending on what you think is right for you. Do a couple of reps on each arm and it will help. Also...very important!! Make sure you stretch out before you do any exercising. You can really hurt yourself if you don't.

A faster way is to lift weights. You do three sets of 1o-20 at a time, and depending on how stronge you are, you start off with about 40-70 pounds in weight.
I hope that i have helped!

Well, starving yourself isn't the answer. When you starve yourself, you lose weight too quickly and your body releases chemicals that make you smell HORRIBLE. Oh yeah, and your body eats away your organs.

Now as far as exercise; there are sooo many diets out there, and most of them work about the same. Treadmills are bad for your knees, so I'd recommend an elliptical running machine, or a bike. Either way if you want to lose (fat) weight, it needs to be cardio exercising. Weigh lifting mostly just builds muscle.
Right now what I'm doing is going every other day on an elliptical machine. You can look them up on Google image search if you don't know what they are. It's good to do cardiovascular exercise for about 30 mins at a time.
Oh yeah, I just learned that Gatoraid is a life saver. Seriously, there was an immense difference when I worked out with and without Gatoraid. It gave me enough energy to keep going for a while.
Junk foods around the house need to go. It's always good to have healthier alternatives. If you have junk around and easily accessible, you'll pretty much find yourself eating it.
remember to drink PLENTY of water (6-8 glasses a day)and healthy goods (fruits and veggies... ones that are brightly colored). hope this helps!! :) ♥ ♥ ♥ [ herbivore's advice column | Ask herbivore A Question ]
