Does anyone have any good fruit smoothie recipies? I want one that has strawberries in it. I am doing it for a demonstration speech in one of my classes and I need a good recipe to use.
duudee_advicer answered Friday May 12 2006, 8:44 pm: I make homemade smoothies and so far, everyons loved em.
Here it goes:
1 1/2 Cups chopped up strawberries
1 Cup Bananas (if you want em)
2 Handfuls of Ice cubes
1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
3-4 Scoops of French Vanilla Ice Cream
Milk, ( Fill the blender almost 1/2 full )
Just blend :)
If you want the rims of your glass to be coated in sugar, take a whole strawberry and slide it onto the rim, then slide the strawberry along the top of the rim so it leaves about a CM wide area of strawberry juice. Then dip the rim of the glass in a bowl full of sugar, spin the glass around once or twice then your rim will be coated just like a bar would do :) [ duudee_advicer's advice column | Ask duudee_advicer A Question ]

A good smoothie recipie (with strawberrys) just happened to be in my book of tricks.
This one requires no measuring!
Take a blender. FIll the pitcher about 1/3 of with ice. Then throw in a handful of strawberries. A smaller handful of mangos or pineapples. Then add two of those little cups of vanilla yogurt, and a splash of lemonade. Mix and enjoy!
