You would have to test both at the time of the dizzy spell. You can buy a peak flow meter, and a blood glucose machine. Or, if the person is dizzy and uses an albuterol inhaler and the dizzyness goes away..then you can assume it was from diminished lung function. If it doesn't go away, and they eat something sweet--then it goes away--that would be blood sugar. If they are experiencing both, they should do both things. ]
yeah. you just have to test your sugar to find out. Im not sure which to handle first though. I hope your friend feels better. ]

Dear Reader,
If you are experiencing trouble with both hypoglycemia and asthma at the same time you need to remember that if you can't breath you can't eat. Take care of the asthma first, then get some sugar in your blood. My suggestion would be to have your friend carry some hard candies in their purse or wallet along with they're inhaler. Really sugary hard candy gets the sugar into your system faster then something you chew and lasts longer.
For more info on either illness though simply check google, or even talk to a doctor about it.
Hope that answered your question.
